If Brandon Harris doesnt throw that interception and we hit the FG for the win, all the fans wouldn't be melting the way they are. And I say this because if we change 1 play, it changes most peoples opinions of the first game.

Not really, it would just delay the melt-down to later in the year similarly to 2014 when we squeaked out a win against them in the opener only to end 8-4 or 8-5.

If LSU is 12-1 after the SEC Championship game then I say keep him

Win out from here and get to the playoffa

otherwise, see ya

Idk man. I'd need some more info, like how the QB played, how and why Bama was beaten by LSU, and if Herman would come to LSU.

Basically no matter how this season plays out, I'd rather Tom Herman than Miles.

Agreed.

And in convincing fashion that shows he has changed philosophy on the offense.

I would still be upset, dont get me wrong, but I saw a thread with a lot of people saying they wont go to the first home game and that we will see <70,000 attendance. Those type of melts would not be said if we win the game and are 1-0

Not many people saw this loss coming. Nobody could really define what Les' final straw should be.

It's obvious now. If Les loses one more game this season, he's done. Yep, that even means Alabama. If les wants to keep his job he must run the table and bring home an SEC title and a national title.

Chances that happens are 0.01%

yes, because IF we are 8-1 on 11/6 it will still be a band aid on a bullet wound.

moving forward this team needs a concrete offensive and player development agenda, and with Miles here its just delaying that.

they had their chance, they chickened out, and they wont do it again.

Yes, Les is an underachiever, and will always be. He's a decent human, though, but he isn't the attn to detail guy you need at head coach. Now if your other coordinations can be "that guy", then OK, but it will NEVER be Les Miles....

If LSU is 8-1 at that time that means they beat BAMA and will be top 5 by then. But they better not lose two of the next three or he can http.

That can't happen. Being 8-2 on 11/7.

Impossible. We cannot be 8-1 going into the 9th game of the season. 8-1 means we beat Bama, Ole Miss, Florida and auburn

Okay, dipshit. 7-1. Forgive me for not counting.

There's a few bigger worries with LSU football right now than counting the games on the schedule.

It isn't that Les is an underachiever...he is/was an over-achiever and was quite possibly at his apex in 2011. Since then the game has changed and he possibly doesn't possess the innate ability to keep up with his peers.

He is a decent, good football coach. I don't believe he has any "exceptional" seasons left in him. He was gifted this year after he should have been released last year. Saturday proves that the current foundation he has built will not be enough for championships. 9 and 10 wins...sure until recruits figure out they won't be playing for championships. Then we are in real trouble.

this is dead wrong.

Even if we stole a victory, it wouldn't change the fact that we weren't prepared at all, played horribly, got thoroughly outplayed in all phases, and didn't deserve to be within 2 TDs of Wisconsin.

Now the pumpers would be screaming "but we won, and that's all that matters!!" But those of us with the ability to think rationally would know that the performance on the field was an indicator of severe problems on this team.

absolutely not and I'd consider it irrational for anyone to think that he should move on after that, if we're 8-1 on 11/6 we're in the drivers seat to win the SEC and advance to the playoff. Particularly if Wisconsin ends up being a good team this year. But I tend to think that most people are overreacting to week 1
