If we run the table and win the sec it’d be hard to leave us out. To not have the sec champ in the CFP would be obscured

Unable to answer that question at this time. Lots of factors involved assuming LSU runs the table. Other undefeated teams are going to need to lose. At this point their is OHio St. TCU, Clemson. You also have to see who the 1 loss teams are. Let's say LSU beats Tennessee in SEC. I can see UGA going over LSU. Not that I think it's correct but that is how it works sometimes.

1. Tennessee will be playing in SECCG not UGA, IMO.
2. You would think the SEC champs would get in, but that is not guaranteed.
3. IF LSU were to win out and beat UGA in SECCG, CFP would probably take 11-1 Tenn over 11-2 LSU who Tenn beat the crap out of.
4. I do not think LSU will win the SECW. I think we end the regular season at 8-4 or maybe 9-3. Either way, we will have overachieved.

We would need some teams to lose I think.
Beat a now 2 loss Bama and the SEC east opponent. Obviously both great wins.
Now I don't think wins over arky, uab and train wreck & M moves the needle all that much.
That leaves big 10, big 12, acc and pac 12 Champs.
Assuming they are all undeafted, sans pac 12, that would leave 1 spot.
Our losses are bad losses. We would need Tennessee to beat uga, possibly very convincingly, and then we would need to avenge our loss to Tennessee, possibly convincingly as well.... and then that might not be enough.
I don't think the winner of OSU/ Michigan has a loss so let's put them in and leave the other as a possibility.
Texas needs to beat tcu or I think tcu is in.
Utah to beat Oregon and USC to lose to either ucla or in the pac 12 championship game.
Clemson has been living dangerously. Hoping they lose to ND or cocky.
TLDR: We need alot of help I think to make it. Lots of dominoes need to fall but it's happend before, 15 years ago in fact. Geaux Tigahs!!
