I certainly feel this is within our reach. I believe, as I have said before, we will be within single digits going into the 4th quarter.

At best, you'll be within single digits going into the half.

SEC speed is a myth. Where was Alabama's speed against Utah last year?

A) We're faster than Bama. (Shep, KW, and Trindon)
B) Comparing UW to Utah is funny
C) I bet you never post on here after Saturday.

The LSU fans said the same thing about Lee and Hatchet last year.

Nah, they're not in school yet. Unless he's in junior high, which is highly probable.

Locker's highlights are flat awesome

He makes me nervous..

He appears to have more talent than Tebow.. IMHO

Not saying he is better, but that highlight film is sick

Too bad he was out all last year

You haven't played under pressure until you've played Washington, I forgot Jefferson was the qb against Arkansas and Georgia Tech last year, that's nothing like Husky stadium, which is somehow new.

He played 4 games and kept Udub within 41 points of Okie.

Seriously, if anyone saw more then a game of two of UW over the past few years, these conversations would not be occuring.

They also should have beat BYU and played Stanford close. Would they have won 7 games last season? No that is doubtful but they would have won 3 at least and stayed competitive in a few more.

Locker IS a very talented QB, and will be a very good test for the LSU defense - one that will either show whether we have returned to previous years' tradition -or- another year or two away.

I will withhold judgement until I see with my own eyes. I do expect Miles to have the team ready to play this game - his record shows that when given prep time, the coaches and team are at their best.

That being said, this opener is in Washington, where the weather can cause havoc. I also saw Locker play vs. OU a couple of years ago, and he gave their Defense absolute fits.....he is very good....give him some credit.

I predict a tighter game than most - and will be happy with a solid win - one where there are no major breakdowns on defense and where JJ and the offense shows that it can make long, consistent drives for touchdowns without major miscues. A 10 pt. win would be fine with me.
