Wade NOR this board's opinion's will have any effect on ALexander's tenure. It MAY be a contributing factor in his dismissal but certainly not THE factor.

If they fire him or demote him with out reasoning like they did Alleva, the media eventually is going to spot light this stuff. They will just assume it’s because of the Wade stuff, and the money that pushed for a change.

Athletics is the number one method of advertisement and promotion for a university. It’s probably the biggest source of revenue for many schools.
You’re an idiot if you think LSU is the poster child for this type of behavior. UNC’s reputation took a hit. FSU and Miami have had that look before. Oklahoma? Alabama? Oregon? Penn State? SMU? Baylor?
I could go on. For one reason or another, many schools have had that label. For Oregon, it’s $$ into athletic facilities. Penn State and Baylor need no explanation. Alabama gets that label just because of the emphasis on winning, right or wrong.
Wade and LSU are far down this list.

99% of LSU fans would take 2 top flight programs (fb and mens hoops),
along with being THE WORST academic school in the country if that was the only way to insure those sports success. Very few people care about a school's academic rating compared to their major sport ranking. Fact.
