Couldn't agree more. If LSU wants to be an iconic program, they need to act like it.

Y’all keep saying this bullshite but it doesn’t seem to matter for teams like Alabama or Texas.

Alabama and Texas wear a variety of uniforms, even if it's just home and away

They aren't wearing one uniform every game like LSU has at times

we should wear the 80’s home gold-purple-gold a couple times a season and in non-playoff bowls, all whites once, and another alternate once or twice.

That’s over 1/3rd of the season and is plenty.

That’s not a variety, that’s home and away. And they don’t deviate from it.

There is nothing wrong with this.

Hate to break it but the alternates aren’t going anywhere. Y’all are dying on the same hill as thinking NIL will be amended or reeled in

I wonder if fans would be upset if LSU altered the jerseys. If they moved the stripes to where the TV numbers are and were able to get a cohesive stripe that matched.

Alabama and UGA say hi.

And both schools make their players wear only black cleats.

The defending national champs wears alternates all the time. Is OSU not an iconic program? What about Michigan? Did you freak out when they started wearing white and navy pants? Are they an iconic program?

All these color combinations uniforms are expensive and needless waste of money

Most schools are contractually obligated to buy a high amount of product.

Sure, but it gets old.

I do agree that LSU changed it up too much last year though.

I wish we would wear them for every game.

UGA wears a back uniform sometimes which I think is the equivalent of us wearing the gold. Pretty sure they also wore a red pants kit which is the equivalent of us wearing the white pants.

No one was complaining about it beforehand.

In Tiger Stadium last year, LSU wore an alternate uniform more than they wore traditional gold-white-gold

At home in 2024:
4 games in alternate uniforms vs 3 games in the classic

Nah, Gold pants and helmet with purple jerseys was the only alternate through most of my life.

That's the way it should be. LSU has the best uniform in college football and shouldn't mess with tradition. The white jersey/white pants/gold helmet REALLY irks me!
