I don't travel anymore, but Louisiana is known for great food and what is served at LSU must be terrible....

If you are going to just offer stadium food (i.e. hot dogs, nachos, popcorn) it should at the very least be warm and tasty. I get that they are feeding massive amounts of people, but that is what they are hired to do.

LSU is getting a significant amount of money on a multi-year contract from the vendor.
The vendor has to make their money, and there is a limit of what can be charged. So... they use lower quality food and lower quality help, in order to maximize profits.
The entities that have superior concession programs... run them themselves.

I agree ,but why wait until you get to the game to eat? With so many good options why eat stadium food anyway? Do you find that they screw up the popcorn or are you doing a whole meal? This thread always confuses me

It’s Baton Rouge. There are so many better places to spend your money on food, before the game. At football games, there’s all the free food in the world, and good arse food to buy, outside the stadium all day leading up to a game

The fact that many people cook at a tailgate / eat before they get to the game does not excuse the crappy in-stadium food and beverage experience.
People like to eat ballpark food at a game. Nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, etc. It's not hard to provide these basic items at reasonable quality. No one is asking for steak at the concession stand...

I used to think yall were being kind of dramatic about the food but the food that was available at the Texas bowl was 1000% better than what you'd find at an LSU event. Superdome has much better options as well.

Yeah, it’s definitely the fan’s fault that they may want to buy something at the game, and they shouldn’t expect the food to be available and edible when they pay for it.

Long-term agreement signed with Sysco for the shitty food and long-term agreement signed with Aramark for shitty service.

As long as I can remember, LSU sports venues have had poor quality food. The posters telling everyone to eat BEFORE/AFTER games at BR establishments are spot on.

If everyone stops eating their crappy food and buying their watered-down beer, it will change. Just a hint.

I appreciate your effort, but you admit you don’t go to LSU games anymore and don’t know what they serve so how do you make this thread?

When we went to Lambeau I was impressed with their fan experience, craft beer selections, and food. I did not have a problem with those prices either
