I would give BK a chance for another 2-3 years and see how he does during that time. Building a successful program does not happen overnight.

You still don’t get it. Program building is a thing of the past. It’s all about what’s happening now. This whole team could transfer in a month. Nothing is guaranteed for even next year much less 3 years from now. BK may not be a great coach, but college football has become a shite show.

I mean... if we had a defense with a pulse last year we win the natty

That was last year. Our offense isn't even close to being as good we were last year. The WRs were legit superstars, in addition to the amazing QB. And when the QB graduated, our running game took a nose dive as well. Also, we have a new OC who seems to be struggling mightily compared to what we had last year.

Our defense is also still struggling pretty badly at this point in the season (though it hasn't been as bad as last year).

I'm just saying at this moment with the 3 straight losses, the player suspensions, etc., it doesn't feel like something special is building. That's not to say that we can't have a special team or whatever when next year's recruiting class gets here and gets a little experience. But we're regressing instead of progressing right now with our coaching and team performance.

If he doesn't fix this team in the off season and loses the opener to clemson in 2025 he seat will be very hot.

Thank you.

There is new paradigm in CFB and BK is struggling to find his sea legs.

No coach would badmouth coordinators right now. The time to throw coordinators under the bus is in a couple of weeks when the season is over. If he keeps them then he is satisfied with them. If he fires them then he is badmouthing them x100.

Coaches love to support their poorly performing coordinators during the year and fire them as soon as the season is done.

That’s what happens when you leave the biggest media darling in the sport and go to a “backwater” southern red state. I don’t like to bring politics into this but come on it’s obvious. The media is strongly influenced by the left and nothing makes them happier than mocking a southern red state. It’s cut and dry.

He’s sticking with Nussmeier in order to honor his role as a leader of the team and also to not totally tank his draft stock He’s not come out and badmouthed his coordinators when every reporter has tee up the opportunity for him to do so. The national media has an axe to grind. It’s sucks that we let them dictate how we feel about what we already knew was going to be an uphill battle.

He brings a lot on himself for some reason. With that being said I am still on board. Fixing this team is an easier proposition than starting over again.

Hey Brian, your job is not to worry about a player's draft stock. Your job is to put the best team possible on the field every week. If that means benching starters who are underperforming, then so be it.

You are paid handsomely to make tough decisions. Time to earn your paycheck.

100%. I've seen 3 different articles about him yelling at players on the sideline. They act like it's a foreign concept for players to get yelled at... It happens every game with every team

You're correct, look at what JD5 did last year.

But it would be nice to see us improve in some aspects of the game in these last couple of games this season.

That's arguably my biggest beef with this year's team. Good teams are supposed to get better as the season progresses. We have been steadily getting worse.

Nah, that 6-4 record and shitty product on the field dictates how I feel.

Kelly has become so hated nationally that they show his outbursts on tv every chance they can. He is constantly seen berating players and coaches. Yet the result is worse each week. This isn’t a team that is improving which should be the case. We aren’t littered with injuries to blame it on. We just aren’t good. Last 2 seasons we improved later in the year. This year we didn’t. Not exactly what you hope to see from year 3 of a “top coach”. Maybe he doesn’t know how to fix it. Maybe the team doesn’t like him either. Either way he doesn’t appear to be in control. Now we hear he doesn’t even attend recruits games yet we have a top class and he is supposed to be praised for it? Is HE even a top 5 reason why any kid comes here? I don’t think he is.
