don't go back to being football ignorant

his stats were very good all 3 years whether total yards or PPG.

nice cherry pick when it was only 3 games he gave up over 30.

aranda gives up 25 in natty OMG BEST EVA

pelini gives up 24 in natty TERRIBLE!

I remember the rant trashing Ed and Aranda.
Rant is an equal opportunity trasher.

We torched him in game 1 against Arizona State in 2005, too. If not for a fake punt from our own endzone that the punter called and a catch by Early that really wasn't a catch, we lose Les' first game.

It’s more a matter of emotional hot takes than it is a lack of intelligence .

LSU gave up approximately 30 ppg in the last 8 P5 games that season

And the melt was glorious

What changed?

we had injuries and what we're learning is that Les over practiced the team... tired legs...at the end of the season

Yesterday we starting having threads questioning O and his decisions regarding the staff openings.

10 days after the best season in college football history!

Many are happy to see Aranda gone.

Whoever is hired(Pelini) will get scorn before he even gets on campus.

I’m glad I’m not one of those people.

Yes, his public asse reeming was what I didn't like about Pelini. His in your face coaching really irked me. There may be some great defensive players lost because they don't want to play for him. The Aranda style is what we need. A cool head will prevail.

Yes, I too remember Pelini getting thrashed in the media. I also remember Pelini’s defense having some very good games toward the end of his time at LSU.

Has there ever been a coach safe from the rant?

So far the only I have seen is Will Wade.
That can change with 2 losses...lol

- also won a Championship

Cherry picking like crazy to not acknowledge his defense allowed less than 20ppg for the season

The subject said TOWARDS THE END OF THAT SEASON

And that's a fact. The rant was melting over the defense doing worse as the season went on against P5 opponents

I'm just asking what changed because I remember people being glad he left

Cherry picking is me saying people trashed him ALL of 2007 and THEN picking games towards the second half. I didn't do that- I literally picked games aligned with the subject

Huh? I'm not the one being ignorant here. Have yall really forgotten the Pelini melts that started here then and how many people thought we needed to "move on"

It was alot

Again we started all-world that season which is why the SEASON average is what you state - but that's not what I asked in the subject and OP. I was very clear about which games started the melts everyone seems to be ignoring now.

I guess what changed is people forgot?

The Rant gave up on this years team when Clemson went up 17-7... ignore the idiots that can't keep their emotions in check.
