I predict much processing of the pitching staff.

Maybe back, maybe not:

Collins

Gone:

They are going to lose to much naturally (graduation & draft) to process that many

Veitmeier
Hilliard
Fontenot
Gervase
Reyzelman

Will all go I think, and this was the meat & potatoes of the staff.

Floyd could also be drafted & leave

Your whole staff can’t be freshmen and transfers, they will have to develop some guys already on the roster

Sam Dutton was a freshmen hitting 95 mph. Hasty was a lefty consistently hitting 93-94 which is hard to find at the college level. They both will be back. And your Javen Coleman take is just bad.

Hasty had the 3rd best ERA on the team.

Collins had the 4th.

You think Reyzelman will leave? I was thinking he may come back for one more year.

Why can't the whole staff be transfers? Is there a limit?

Coleman? Is because he didn’t pitch this year? Seriously, I’d like to know why you would think he’s out. He would have been a weekend guy this year.

Reyzelman and Gervase are both draft eligible and will go if drafted. Reyzelman due to past injury history and pro teams love 95+ mph fastballs.

Gervase was intimated to be a one and done from the get go.

Cooper and Floyd should return.

All of your may be back should return to the team next year as all should be given a chance to start.

I can see Edwards, Hellmers, Fowler transferring. Shaffer is a grad student. Lansville, Coleman and Money should return.

Why everyone counting out Hellmers and Edwards? I thought they were good last year down the stretch.

Floyd, Reyz, and Gervase are draft risks. I think they'd be best served with another year, though.

Shaffer is out of eligibility. Hasty and Fowler will be replaced. Edwards and Hellmers are going to be on the fringe, but likely replaced.

Everyone else listed will be back. It's a numbers game. We have a nice class coming in, but you still have to fill out the roster. For reference, we had 20 pitchers this year.

Bollman and G Fontenot are 2 other pitchers on the roster that we'll have to see about.

Because you can't get enough quality transfers that are better than the 12+ guys that OP has us losing.

Will Coleman be ready to pitch next year? He was injured into the season, and I believe they took some time to see if he could pitch with it. I don't think he's an option for 2023. So, it's kind of a moot point.

Hasty had the 3rd best ERA, 5th best WHIP, 3rd best B/AVG against on the team.

If he isn't on the team next season, it will be because of his own choosing. Not because the coaching staff is going to process him.

This is how I see it as well.

So, the right way to look at it is you need to replace your Friday night starter and your two best arms in the bullpen just to get back to square (which isn't great).

Then you hope for improvement from the guys who pitched this year.

I think he'll sign 8-10 pitchers to try and hopefully find 3-4 that can be reliable on weekends. We need several BIG transfers.

If I understand the rule correctly you have to be 21 at the time of the draft to be eligible. Floyd will miss eligibility by 1 month if so
