Skanky did not like the meeting at the Gov's mansion relating to private equity, Skanky did not like Lane leaving Ole Miss (Keith Carter Called Skanky trying to prevent it), Skanky did not like Will Wade coming back to LSU, Skanky did not like Gov's comments about Scott Woodward, Skanky did not like LSU firing Woodward, Skanky did not like Verge being promoted, Skanky did not like how Lane was involved in this.

Its a bunch of small things that has led to this.

All of this- I think the private equity aspect is really being overlooked. No one wants to have someone with bigger pockets come in. Every school would likely have to follow suit to keep up. The conference also gets rich off being a 501c3. Now that the players get paid like crazy, the only way for the universities to stay rich is remaining tax exempt and football in particular remaining amateur. The entire charade that college football isn't pro sports at this point for the major conferences will come tumbling down at some point, and the SEC does not want that to happen. It is a tale as old as time, a fading king trying to hold on to power over his kingdom

This is absolutely a Russia-gate type frame up they are trying here.

Sankey can go frick himself. I'm eager to learn what the judge has to say today.

Texas AnM vs LSU 2018 was my wake up call. Ive never seen such an obviously rigged game in my life. I think it was the 3rd OT when I realized that they weren't about to let us win in their house no matter what. Weither it was personal or they just felt sorry for AnM always losing to us and wanted to hand them their first win, I can't say. What I can say is those officials absolutely rigged that game.

Thats why they got beat to death next year without mercy, man I loved that week. Letting them know on secrant that we would punish them so hard Saturday then doing exactly that.

I've had personal acquaintances reply to me the last week in similar fashion. LOL

I am also getting apologies from friends that always called me crazy when I pointed out how blatantly obvious it was that the SEC fixes games. Not just LSU games BTW...

Yeah, we have been used by the most corrupt conference in CFB. My heart won't ache if they "kick" us out.

The fact that 2009 at Alabama wasn't the wakeup call scares me a bit. How much are y'all willing to deal with? Some LSU fans cower at the glory of the SEC, always cheering for other teams in non conference games. It's ridiculous. Only we are out for the best of LSU, everyone else hates us and will do whatever to denigrate us. Screw the SEC. Let's leave and let punks like Auburn and Ole Miss be the new whipping boys.

Wait. I think you have something there. The liberal playbook. Stankey must be racist because LSU has a black AD. Let's go with that! Print the tshirts. Get the liberal protesting companies and lets get them out to the SEC office with signs and grievances. Somebody get Rev Al sharpton on the phone. Hell the "pro player" are black too. This is an opportunity we can't pass up. Rich elite white guy discriminates against black players and LSU AD.

Sad but true. Sankey has proven to be a weak man and a weaker leader. Pathetic

You forgot to add “Skanky did not like Wade recruiting through loopholes for foreign players that other teams were already doing.” To him it probably looked like CWW was thumbing his nose yet again at the powers that be

This is all like if the police arrest you for thinking about breaking the law but you never did and they actually have nothing to arrest you for so the judge says what are doing in my court. What crime did this person commit and the DA says well he thought about embezzeling. Judge says did he embezzel, ummm no. Ok, case dismissed there is no crime here.

This is obviously a personal issue between Sankey (and by extension the SEC) and LSU. I fully believe he is orchestrating this and not just “following marching orders” from the other SEC presidents. I believe the SEC member schools have allowed the administrative offices of the conference to have too much power and influence.

This is more than just Sankey. This is a few people at sec universities not liking how lsu has run things. They are talking about the governor, Rouse, and the ad.

It's mainly about rouse though. It's the institutional control that they are mainly going after.

Same here. I have been back and forth on this almost by the hour. However, disputes require reasonable people to calm down and find a solution. LSU has signaled that it wants one. The SEC is just being unreasonable at this point.
