no, many people notice.

I noticed it immediately and hated it. It's the Geaux font (which I generally like) but it looks awful on the yard line numbers.

I swear the numbers in those two photos look exactly the same to me. I feel like ya'll are messing with me.

The older numbers are better. Also, the coach decides on how the field looks. Les said this when he took over. Hence the endzone change from 2004-2005. He liked the numbers though.

Do you honestly think BK had anything to do with this?

I had the same thought. Dude was totally checked out and yet OP thinks he was micromanaging the painting of the numbers on the field.

Kiffin’s first task is to change the numbers on the scoreboard. Let’s make sure wd have more on our side than their side.

It would also be nice to crack 30.

I knew they changed them. But I don't notice unless I see both to compare them. It's just not something I notice.

I probably wouldn’t have noticed if they hadn’t told us they changed for the 100 year anniversary of Tiger Stadium. The previous style had a shadow effect to them. Almost like they were 3d.

I wouldn't mind if we got rid of the Geaux font in the end zones. Go back to the font we had in the Saban era.

Don't have a major opinion on the font, but liked them better with the shading.

Also miss the old endzones where the font went across the whole thing

Yes, the yard line numbers need to go back to old font.

The Tiger Eye needs to be centered between the 45 and 50, not centered on the 50.

The end zones need to go back to the old font from the 70s.

What, you want me to talk about the basketball team?

Weren’t the old numbers shadowed with purple? And every other 5 yards should be a darker green 100%

If I am correct, the angle on the numbers is 58°. It was done on the jerseys several years ago during the Miles era to honor the 1958 national championship team. I think the numbers on the field were done for the same reason. If you look at Ole Miss jerseys, they are basically the same template as ours except we have numbers on the shoulders. Look at the difference in the size of the numbers, look at the angles on the numbers. Go back to 2007 Lsu jersey and you will see the numbers or different. I wish we would go back to those numbers as they were bigger and easier to read. The new numbers on the jerseys look small.

This one may be dumber than the colored endzones debate over on Saints Talk.
