Same.

I watch and go when I’m not working.

Watched a few minutes of an LSU A&M game earlier in the year. We were up big and immediately lost the lead. Regretted my decision and haven’t thought about basketball sense.

I can’t even remember the last time I watched a basketball game, collegiate or NBA!

Alt, I was at that Arky game in year one, too. Great crowd, fun game. But it was a mirage, I guess.
Your recap is exactly the journey I’ve had. I thought when he was hired we would spot CMM thé first two years —as in I was willing to endure middling, not mediocre results — but we had to have some improvement in year 3 & 4.
It didn’t happen and apathy has long since set in.

But I still watch every game. Cause I’m a glutton for punishment, and LSU basketball is still my fave to watch.

Had the CJ SI cover framed hanging on my wall growing up. Much better college basketball days.

Haven’t watched a minute of an LSU basketball game since Moon Ducote was the coach.

When you know your team is going to end the season with around 16 total wins regardless if they bring in a top 20 portal class, or a top 25 recruiting class, if they spend a lot of money or if they spend 0 dollars.... It's almost pointless.

I hate to say I'm in this category. I went to nearly every home game when Wade was here and watched every away game. The last home game I went to was Ark 2022. I watched highlights of a couple of OOC games in 2023. That was probably the last time I knew anything about LSU basketball.
My sanity is ever so slightly spared by not watching this debacle.
I am not a Wade fan. I am a fan of my team being competitive. LSU hasn't been competitive in basketball since Wade left. I don't expect to win every game but in basketball, good coaches can win games even shorthanded (which also bothered me about BK as well). There's no way someone is going to convince me that Princeton is rolling out a roster equal to anybody in the tourney yet, they have won some games. There are notable upsets every year. It is really disappointing to see people even this season refer to injuries. Good coaching can compensate for that and that's not arguable at all. It happens every week of every season. Tons of great coaches today got their start at a smaller school and climbed the ladder because they won games against superior programs. And now it's even easier to build a roster faster.
And it's really dumb to complain that Wade was sloppy or whatever you want to call it. All he did is what everyone else had been doing for ages. He was trying to level the playing field and it ruffled feathers. So you want LSU to continue to fight with one tied behind their backs? Stupid. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at the administration for not treating the situation the same way Kansas did. THAT'S the problem, not Wade.
If LSU doesn't care about basketball and keeps rolling this horrible product out, I'm not going to waste my time. When LSU acts like they care and hires a winner, I'll be back. You want to criticize me? A true fan holds the administration responsible for a good product by voting with their feet. Fool me once, same on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

True LSU fans are not participating in this charade. Continuing to support the program when the administration is purposely fleecing the fans - dumb.

If MM would have won games and gone to the NCAA tournament, the fans would have backed him winning cures everything!!

I’ve watched very little of the MacMen this year. Caught final seconds of UK collapse.

I haven’t watched much since the final four run tbh

I don’t even know when they play.

quote:same. That’s crazy when I think about it. He really has killed interest in the program.
Haven't been to a live game in the CM era.
I remember going all the time when I was a student when we weren’t even that good and then at least a few times a year after I graduated when Will Wade came to town. Haven’t been to a game in about 5 years now

I tried. I gave up at some point last season.
