re: I have not felt this good about LSU football since 2019. A breakdown as to why:

We “appear” to be better on paper, but even with a veteran offensive line we weren’t consistent on offense last year.
It will be too big of a leap on offense and defense to make a difference in our record from last year.
No way they beat Clemson in week one. We haven’t beaten a team that talented since Kelly has been here.
We will lose 3-4 regular season games, and it will be the beginning of the end for Kelly.

Not falling until after we beat Clemson. It's beyond impossible to know the truth until the season starts with everyone having closed practices. Hopefully it's another season to remember fondly.

Some of yall don’t believe teams improve after the 1st game.That was a very good post about this team and of course the negatigers had to show up.

I don’t see them making a deep run if they start 0-1. It’s a mental thing. They have to get that monkey off their back first and foremost.
Similar to finally beating bama in 19 after 8 years. It’s just something they have to do to build confidence. If they can win at Clemson they know they can win the rest of the games on their schedule. No excuses guys. Clemson is a must win!

Look at all of the great teams. Show me one that’s started 0-1.
Sure you can improve but that means making a CFP game vs the poptarts bowl. It’s never improvement from CFP appearance to national title.

I’m pretty excited to see the defense suffocate the opposing offenses this season.

Nothing against you specifically but this is nothing new. We hear this EVERY YEAR and honestly it's getting tiresome. We gonna beat everybody, we stacked, their WRs won't get separation, we gonna eat them up at the LOS, our RB will maul them, wail til our LB crushes their QB and sends him out for the season, they have never seen speed like we got, our OL is so mature we will drive them backwards. I love the Tigers but I'll wait til we are 9-0 and say that kinda stuff. Maybe I just don't have the balls to do that every year and be right once in a blue moon? But.... 
EDIT: I hope all the good stuff you said comes through. I just wanna beat that fake tiger in the Carolinas.

10-2 with our schedule will get you a 1st round bye. Probably a 5 or 6 seed. That means very first CFP game in Baton Rouge, first ever in December? I don't know.

What separates JB9 and JD5 from NUSS?
Those guys ran the ball. Nuss doesn't have to run as well as those two, but must be at least a threat to run it. Otherwise, we are fricked.
