Kiffin wouldn’t make this move without consulting Baker, and he probably talked to Corey about Aranda as well considering they worked together for years.
Kiffin has a shite ton of respect for his defensive coaching staff and wouldn’t make a move that would seem like a slight to them. Baker probably understands that he most likely will get a HC job next year and Kiffin’s job is to look out for the programs future too.
