I guess we’re no longer the most hated team?

Paid too much money for Sorsby. Gotta get a ROI

Give it time. Once Lane fires his Twitter back up after beating Clemson, we’ll be right back in the cross hairs.

Their transfer QB, Sorsby, was caught gambling on CFB and even placed several bets for and against his own team.

Instead of being suspended for at least the upcoming season, his legal team filed an injunction with a Lubbock judge against the NCAA, allowing him to play this year other than the first 2 games against cupcakes.

Realistically any other program at the top would be doing the same thing let’s be honest. College football has jumped the shark. Has any AD not fought back and won on any major issue since Will Wade was canned? Serious question

I'll take it. It means we'll be 1-0.

I already didn't like them for being a Johnny-come-lately with no history desperately trying to buy themselves into relevancy, but after this I will pull for anyone they play against.

Would be pretty insane and unprecedented if Tech gets blackballed from competing against the other power conferences

I’ll believe it when I see it. Seems like theater to me right now.

Nah. This will die down. If it was LSU, the backlash would be far worse with all the hypocritical Forde and Vitale types rioting in the streets. We are the ultimate heels, and I love it.

Sorsby is gonna get blackballed by some of his teammates.

Who wants to have that as your starting QB?

Most likely. Which is insane.

This could backfire majorly on Texas Tech. It’s in their best interests long term and in good faith to suspend Sorsby for the upcoming season. Who are Texas Tech going to play(outside of conference) if a lot of schools refuse to play them in all major sports? I think most schools would not want to go down that road.

Lane will have to be coaching behind bullet proof glass in Oxford.
