Myles will be the starting QB vs UCLA.

Will he be the stater the entire season?... That depends on his overall performance(s) and wins/losses.

I expect we will see a lot of both QB’s this year.

Hopefully it’s not a reefer, though he wouldn’t be the first, or probably last.

Max was 4/10 against our first team defense in the spring game...

Umm based on what footage?
from what I've seen he has at best an average arm and average accuracy. People keep going back to Joe Burrow and trying to compare the similarities, but Joe also had 4 years in college before he looked like 2019 Joe. If he wasn't a legit running threat half the people raving for him to start, wouldn't be.

Myles’ lack of touch is much more problematic then Max’s lack of arm strength

If the LSU QB is not performing like Burrow, the fans will be clamoring for whatever QB is not playing.

Unless the QB happens to be ...

Max went on the road and beat the #6 team in the country. Who has Myles beaten??

That was easy
truly idiotic statement. That 37 points LSU scored wouldn't have been enough to beat either Mizzu or Miss St. Somebody said thank the guy for throwing the shoe, also Thank Dan Mullen for sitting the best player on their team, and one of the best players in the draft.

It foolish to use Spring game stats to make an argument.
If you noticed, the players who have contributed little during their careers looked like All Americans.

You would think from reading the board that being able to run is more important than being able to throw down field. Brennan set records throwing downfield. Max threw for 160 yards vs Florida and road Boutte coattails the entire time. Brennan will be the starter if healthy.

. Thank God the rant doesn’t coach for LSU. Max is your starter. If you don’t like it you can keep crying on here.

Agreed. MJ starts

I’d rather him only light it up in 4 games this year and go into 2022 with 4 years of eligibility.

I’d rather you keep up with redshirting rules

This is true but it was also pretty evident who was the better passer in that spring game. Timing, accuracy, etc. Myles is the better passer and their is no debating that. The only thing Myles needs to improve on is his pocket presence and movement, which you started to see in that second and third game. Myles will start off the season as the starter and if he doesn't perform he will be replaced. simple

Really? Not open for debate?

This is a line usually spouted by people who are uncomfortable with their stated position and don't want debate. It's transparently insecure.

Lest we forget that Myles resorted to a fake spike heave in a spring game, then did a throat slash gesture to the sideline like he had just put the dagger in Bama

God forbid anyone has fun or shows emotion during a practice game...

Logic is dumb

Brennan rode the coattails of Marshall

Also Myles was, you know, in year 4 at LSU. Max was a true freshman

Any issue I have with brennan is strictly immobility related and not arm related. The offense is 100% one dimensional because of this

Compare sacks, team rushing yards, and time of possession under the 2 qb's. It is pretty eye opening once you look beyond just the passing yards and TD's

and sorry to say, if you want to beat bama, you need a mobile qb that is at minumum a threat to take off for 10-15 yards if you give him an opening. Immobile qb's do not beat bama. As accurate and deadly as Burrow was passing the ball, even he had to make sure Bama knew that if you let him he will take off
