Max's ceiling is higher and it's not really debatable. Myles can make all the throws, but Max just has that it factor and he never gets rattled. Doesn't hurt that he can run.

In fact, it's the complete opposite. Running for a quarterback really doesn't factor into their "ceiling". Myles Brennan has twice the arm Max does. Max isn't even accurate. He has an average to below average arm with average to below average accuracy.

I mean, you can say Brennan has the stronger arm but the rest is just nonsensical bullshite. You act like people are saying Max can run like Vick. Brennan has ZERO mobility out of the pocket to extend plays.

Actually he will screw it up worse if he doesn’t name Myles the starter...... Max isn’t leaving, he still has 4 years to play. If O names Max the starter Myles is GONE. Only backup being Nuss, another True Freshman.....
Myles is your starter for that reason alone. If he struggle, Max gets his chance.

Are you serious? Go watch like every game Myles has played in! I'm pull for whoever is the QB. That being said what has Max done??? Btw, ole miss was one of the worst defenses in SEC history last year. Against Fla we needed a retard to throw a shoe to win. Max did what he needed to do to win and good on him. For people to say Max has an " it factor " is absolute bs. Nobody knows that answer yet.

frick all this typical worn out LSU QB controversy, trash both our guys bullshite. Myles is the hugely talented and tested starter, Max is insanely gifted backup.

Whatever it is, I feel more comfortable and confident when Max is taking snaps. He’s got an edge and the awareness/mobility to extend plays.

This shite is getting comical. How is Myles so clear cut when he’s 1-2 as a starter? He looked terrified in that State game last year. He hasn’t started a road game in front of more than 100 people in his career.
I hope whoever the QB is leads LSU to the next best season ever but let’s stop acting like Myles being on the roster for 5 years automatically makes him the starter.
