I feel bad for Coach Johnson having to put up with Koki and his questions.

Can they get a decent media guy to cover baseball.

Do you feel bad for us for having to put up with your threads?

Well what the hell was the question?

You won’t believe question #2!

I can’t believe he asked that. Completely unprofessional. I don’t know how Jay was able to stay calm and not go off on him

Koki actually does a decent job. He asks a lot of decent baseball questions and there are plenty of interviews in the past where Jay seems to light up and dive into the answer.
I think Jay just has actually realistic expectations for the players, and doesn’t want to answer easy click-bait type questions. He knows that even if they’re struggling or having a slump, saying anything about it on an interview will hurt their confidence.
I don’t think it’s a Koki thing, I think it’s a Jay thing where he gets obviously annoyed at a dumb question regardless of who asked it.

I have never seen Jay look like that before. Admittedly I just read the blurbs from postgame interviews, but this was my first time watching a whole one. Jays face is just straight did you really just ask me that.
I miss Luke Johnson.

Question 1
Cleaner game for you guys tonight, overall, um what do you think you guys did better tonight?
Question 2
Jared’s third all time on the list for LSU homers list, what has he meant for this program? Is that the question you’re referring to because that is question number 2.
Question 3
With Kade coming back from the odd wrist cramp, how did he look? Johnson’s reply “He was great. I’ve been telling you guys he was fine for a week.”

So nothing bad or unexpected, just another idiotic Islandboy thread.

I posted the link and had to post the questions. He likely was the one who downvoted me. It was a nothingburger. Jay certainly had it worst with that raging little girl they had before Koki, and I can take or leave Koki TBH, while she asked the same damn question about RISP. It was the very last thing he commented on after winning the title. Now she was over her skis and aggravating.

Which of these are bad questions?

This whole thread gave me anxiety

Koki for a young journalist likely not from here and obviously not playing baseball at any meaningful level does a decent job. Certainly grinds and puts in the effort.
Looking at the interview I would guess the question at hand involved Casan Evans. Koki basically asked CJJ why did he struggle tonight. CJJs sighed and stared at the sky for a second. And then said you mean the scoreless third? LOL.

Assuming they are saying the question about Kade but he referenced the ENTIRE media with his response because that is all he heard from everyone the entire freaking week. Now, after a 1 run 7 IP game, asking him how he looked is really a stupid question.
He could have framed it:
“Kade certainly looked great tonight, there didn’t seem to be any ill effects from the humidity tonight. Did the extra rest help or was it just a matter of being hydrated?”
IF he wanted to ask a question about Kade
