Video of process and Mulkey’s reaction

The toe boxes, Nike swooshes, and tongue tabs are all pieces cut from a national championship game ball, painted and sewn onto the shoes.

At the end of the video, Coach Mulkey cut a piece of the net and we tied it to the bottom of the laces.

Can’t think of a better co-sign and an absolute honor to collab with CKM on this project.

Cutting the net with Coach Mulkey. An all-time moment in my art career and my best work so far. It’s hard to put into words. Very grateful for the support a lot of you guys have shown me. We’re just getting started.

BOOT UP!!

This may be my official cross over into being an old man, but you cut up the actual game ball for those shoes?

Tune in tomorrow when we'll cut up Warren Morris's gold jersey to make an ascot.

Just kidding. Those sneakers look sweet.

Coming from a guy that wears whatever shoes are on sale - those are awesome!

I mean I’m sure they had multiple final four balls. I feel like I’d be okay with it. You wear them and people get to see them and hear the story verses a ball collecting dust in a trophy case. I could see both arguments here, I guess.

I’m in agreement here.

That said, if they’re gonna choose something to do with them, this is pretty fly.
