It sounds like Badger from “Breaking Bad” is calling the game.

t’s $30 bucks to watch 3 games. It’s capitalism. You don’t have to purchase it.

How does every other game get televised without my SEC streaming package covering the cost?

Some of us just won’t pay an extra $30 for 3 games when the other 65 games take no additional effort and have no additional cost.

If I can pay an extra $10 per month on Sling during baseball season and get all but 3 games, paying an additional $30 for 3 games is an easy pass.

I actually enjoy it when it’s just Rooney & Burke.

Screw Rodgers but this website melts way too hard about just three games early in the season being on a different platform. It’s really not that big of a deal

Most of those complaints were from years prior when some posters paid $30 for a broken service. You’d complain about that for any other service that was supposed to be delivered, why exclude D1?

That’s your prerogative to choose not to pay the $30.

It’s really quite simple:

If LSU is playing in an SEC stadium, SEC+ has the broadcast rights to the games.

If LSU is playing at Sourheastern, Tulane, or ULL, or any other non SEC stadium, the only way to see the games is to have ESPN+

Jay chooses, emphasis on “chooses” to have his team play in a tournament showcasing 4 different teams. This allows his team to play higher competition at a neutral site stadium.

ESPN does not have broadcast rights for these tournament games. These games would NOT be available for anyone to watch if D1, or the host of these tournaments not broadcast them at a cost.

For me…paying $30 to watch these games is well worth it. So I’ll do me and you do you and bitch that these gsmes Jay chooses to play in cost a little cash.

I’m one of those people and chose not to give them my money this year. I’ve just been using a YouTube stream that’s the broadcast audio with live stats / on base graphics. I’d rather watch but I’ll survive

frick D1. I’m just following the scores online. I’d gladly watch a pirated stream on YouTube if one stayed up. Not giving a goddamn dime to that jack shite outfit.

And what makes you think they would televise a neutral site tournament when they are not obligated too?

The broadcasts were good, love Ben and Lynn, replay views weren’t great. What’s frustrating is there is no obvious link to cancel your subscription so it doesn’t renew. Finally found a Manage Subscriptions link under Contact Us (odd place for it) but it only showed my cancelled 2025 subscription. I guess I’m going to have to cancel the charges via my credit card. What a pain in the arse.

The streaming purchase is supposed to be a one time thing with no auto renew. So it shouldn't require cancellation.

On the plus side for all LSU fans is now we have 6 more games this coming weekend that we already paid for and don't give a single shite about.
