Colt McCoy is still the goat for Football names.
Nah.
But, Colt McCoy being the name of the QB for Texas was awesomely perfect.

Even Daniel Radcliffe once commented about what a great name Barkevious Mingo is and named his fantasy football team after him

Years ago Notre Dame had a running back/receiver named Hiawatha Francisco.

I've seen two reports that indicate that his name is even better than most reports reveal, adding that his middle name is Juan, which gives us:
DeColdest Juan ("the coldest one") Crawford.
If true, I am in awe.

And that is why I named my dog after him, at my friend’s suggestion.

Yeah, the reports I saw were debunking that...both stories had a line similar to "his middle name is actually the decidedly less cold, 'Juan.'" There is a chance it's actually spelled Jaun," but I still think the parents' intent was Juan, which when said together with DeColdest, sounds like "One."

I always enjoyed the name of the legendary Demetrius Hookfin.

You are correct. And he's got Catholicism covered too.
