I'm sure he'll just stick with old reliable...option to the short side of the field.

We may see something if we are stuck in a rut ala the last 2 games, which i'm cautiosly optimistic won't happen.
I think it's more likely to see some trickeration in that gray area of putting the game away / piling it on. Kind of a having fun type reward for players.

We don't need trick plays.

That's why you won the first one, imho.

Look at the offensive stats. 15 First downs on 239 yards offense. That's very efficient. Les got every ounce of production he could get. He had the perfect offense for THAT game. I kept waiting last time for the trick play. I suspect our entire defense was too. My guess is he will use one or two well rehearsed trick plays mid to late 2nd or 3rd qtr next game. It will be the perfect time.

I'm sure we might have some new "wrinkle" in the offense.

Think of the Oregon game where we came out and ran the hurry up on them. Might not be the same for Bama, and I don't expect a lot of "trickery" but I'm sure there will be a few things designed to break tendencies or show other looks.

The Jet sweep has been mentioned. I could see running that action, faking the handoff to freeze the ILBs, and then running the QB lead.

This may sound stupid, but I would use Lee as a decoy one play. Put him in at WR, behind the line of scrimmage and make it look like a Lee is going to catch and throw down field. Then have JJ run the option to the other side of the field. Lee may not take a snap in the game, but he can still be an asset.

You have got to think we are going to see a flea flicker off of that lead toss though.

Guaranteed. But, Bama won't bite and JJ will scramble for 3 yards out of bounds for the first down.

Hey, if he isn't throwing into triple coverage, i'll exchange punts with Bama all night long.

For one, the J Lee, J Jefferson wildcat.

Maybe I shouldn't have given that one away.

I agree with running it down their throats but it would be sweet to pull one or two surprises that would make Little Nicky's skin crawl! I remember enjoying watching Spurrier's reaction when we had that fake filed goal a few years ago - it was classic! With Nick- he would blow a gasket!

You may see some weird formations in the second half just to make Bama burn a timeout. I would look for Ware in the Wildtiger or even JJ in the wishbone.

With Hilliard & Ware - the defense would call to out of fear.

Watching Army-Navy, they ran a counter play to the wingback out of the option look (qb starts running right as if to run option and does an inside handoff to wing back).

I've also seen teams run a goal line package from the pistol, with a) behind the qb, and two rbs to each side.

Interesting formation.

I wouldnt look for any "trick plays". Maybe some extra wrinkles on plays we already run..
Hell, if we can get any kind of passing game, it will open up even more opportunities for our Off.
and we wont need any trick plays...

With so many weeks to prepare I just think our coaches will find 2 or 3 opportunities to run a surprise play. There is no other coach who knows the right time to pull the trigger than The Hat! But I also agree run it down there throats and side to side, it's a beautiful thing to watch.

0.

We are what we are. Prior to 11/5 I thought that Les was sitting on some plays because our offense had been able to impose their will up to that point. I figured we might see a few new wrinkles he was holding back till when we needed them. But our offense was being held in check and we stuck to what we do. So I doubt theres anything more to our offense.
