After studying everything about the Tide on film and then studying everything on LSU with regards to our predictabilities I'm wondering what new plays we will see.

I'm guessing we see a minimum of 3 plays we have not seen this year. What is your guess?

I also would not be surprised to see the Honey Badger in on a few offensive plays that could open up a big play on offense.

agreed. Get that D running sideline to sideline early and often, then blow them off the line late.

I just hope we get enough of a passing game to keep the chains moving.

A whole play book according to this board

Some believe Gary took that playbook with him

Les has everyone two steps behind.

Les knows that you use trick plays to hide a weakness in your team.

When you have a team as good as this one, you play it straight up, and keep everything close to the vest.

We don't need trick plays. I want to see about 15 lead toss plays that slam the defense for a 4.2 YPC or something.

You have got to think we are going to see a flea flicker off of that lead toss though.

I def think there will be a few different wrinkles but for the most part the plan stays the same. An no way HB gets in on offense for first time in Championship game.

I don't know that he may be sandbagging, but I don't recall seeing the 'Shepard Sweep' in the first Alabama game. Seems like there may be a place for that play.

Haven't seen the halfback or WR pass, either. With three guys lining up who have experience as QB I wouldn't be surprised if that changes.

A. We haven't seen the full-bore Jet Sweep this year at all. RS in motion, full speed at the snap. I actually like the "touch pass" I've seen Okie St and others use off this play - it counts as a pass so if there's a problem on the exchange it's an incomplete pass not a fumble.

B. How about a pass off the option? If the end takes JJ, he pitches to the back, but if not, the receiver releases his block and goes down the sideline - JJ can float a pass to OBJ or RR. Wide open.

He will not play offense in this game if I had to bet money on it.

Les hasn't called a trick play all year. He's gotta have that itchy trigger finger.

Bama is probably too disciplined for some of these types of plays.

Maybe we can catch them in over-pursuit and try a misdirection play if we're able to move the ball getting them running sidfeline to sideline.

There will be some stuff that you have never seen before, but only if the situation presents itself. Who knows though, it's Les we're talking about

I could see TM7 on the offensive side of the ball, but only as a distraction.

Nothing new, but I'd like to see the play where we hand it off to shepard on the sweep and he gets about 8 yards on average. I don't think we run that play enough.

If LSU has to throw it 20 times or more, they lose

Well, the play that looks like the old "cross-buck" play has only been ran twice that I've seen. The games before and after Alabama. I bet we see that one once or twice more. Fake to Hilliard with Blue crossing back....
