Unfortunately yes, this is what my co-workers and I have been talking about today and all feel the same way.

We need a TD Collective to land these recruits
Every NIL deal is worth about $350

It's getting easier and easier

This is my hope. It's just not the same. It's just wrong. I love LSU football and always will, but it's not the same kind of feeling as it once was. I also found myself not watching other teams as much as I usually do during the season.

Nope. I view CFB like the WWE and have for years. Now it is even more entertaining with the idiocy of the playoffs, HS players getting millions before playing a down, and the blatant media favoritism to three or four teams.
For LSU, specifically, having a coach that gets paid 10M a year and can't back up anything really gives me a laugh. I enjoy watching fans melt and enjoy trolling this board (sometimes).
The NFL is a garbage product so I'll always watch more CFB and root for my alma mater, but I am very aware of what I am watching.

However, what these last few years have done is make it easy for me to give up on the season when things go off the rails.
Exactly

I enjoy watching football games. I enjoy the actual sport. I’ll continue to watch LSU and SEC games.
But….. I’m not scheduling weekend events around what time LSU plays now. If I miss a game because I had a party or other event planned, so be it. I’m not nearly as emotionally invested. I use to get very upset and frustrated when LSU lost. Now… I’m over it an hour later and sleep like a baby if they lose a game.
I stopped following recruiting real close. There’s no reason to follow it real close now. Kids are “100% committed” for a year and flip a week, or days before NSD, because they got more $$. I’ll look over the signing class on NSD and see where we stand.
Bowl games are beyond worthless now. I will never travel to see one. I’ll watch it on TV, but have zero emotional investment, simply because 25-30% of each team’s roster won’t be playing.
If we make the playoffs, I’ll watch and be excited to see them win, but if we lose, I’ll be over it pretty quick.

It used to give me a sense of pride when a guy committed to and was loyal to LSU. That is gone. I can't blame the players I think we could all be bought if we were in the same situation but the days of kids playing for the school are pretty much done.

Well, if Kelly can't put a highly competitive winning product on the field in 2025 I'll probably watch some one off games but nothing like in the past. Thankfully, there is Jay Johnson and staff and the stout LSU baseball squad to keep me happy in the spring. JJ runs circles around BK and doesn't take him 4+ years to fix problems.

I’ll watch some, but I wouldn’t invest too much into it mentally.

I’ll still watch and pull for LSU. The games are still fun for me, but no question my affection has cooled. I am not nearly as invested.
Same. It is what it is. It's not the same sport anymore.
i hate NIL and I hate transfer portal and it has thinned my support and appreciation for CFB. i'm thinking now my interest in LSU is in part because of habit. I have 50 yd line seats and did not go to a game this year. gave all my tiks to my daughter.

I’ll raise my hand, but I’ll be right there next September excited for the short 12 weeks I get watching the Tigers.
But, it is becoming harder and harder.

I never will completely give up on it as long as it’s in existence. Too much heart for LSU. But Ive lost more and more interest every year. I’m not nearly as interested as I used to be.

Definitely less invested than in years past due to NIL. Kids became greedy with no loyalty so that has soured the game for me to a certain extent. Still root for P&G however
