The one I'm curious about is the Texas game on LHN. Is that only available in the ESPN app if LHN is a part of your TV bundle?

So if you have nothing right now and just want to watch 40/56 games, get an ESPN+ subscription for $9.99/mo (Can cancel any time). You will be required to have a cable/streaming tv package with ESPN/SECN to watch the other 13 games on there....
so as long as you have a cable provider and the espn app, you will be able to watch every regular season game outside of the round rock classic is what you’re telling me?

Here's a simplified version I typed up a couple years ago.

-If the game is on SECN+, this will be on the espn app and you must have a cable subscription that includes SECN to watch. An ESPN+ subscription will NOT get you the game.

-If the game is on ESPN+, this will be on the espn app and you must have a paid monthly subscription to ESPN+. A cable subscription will NOT get you the game.

-If the game is on a traditional TV channel (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN), in order to stream it on the ESPN app you must have a cable subscription that includes these channels to watch. An ESPN+ subscription will NOT get you the game.

and then for this year...

-For the Round Rock Classic, you must have a D1 Baseball subscription. No cable or ESPN+ subscription will get you the game.

ESPN+ is what requires a subscription.

But I need this for a bulk of the games correct?

No, only a few. Some midweek in state games I believe. The rest you can watch through the ESPN app with your cable subscription.

No. The info in the OP is either worded poorly, or inaccurate.

ESPN+ will get you ONLY two games (the road midweek games). ESPN+ alone WILL NOT give you access to any of the games on SEC+.

Correct. If you don't catch LHN on your TV package, you will not be able to watch it on the app either.

These are not the same. SEC Network+ is basically SEC Network alternative channel. You can watch this through the ESPN app logged in through you cable/TV provider. ESPN+ is what requires a subscription.

We need to start a pool for how many people ask why they can’t watch games with the ESPN+ app

trying to figure out if this is worded incorrectly or what

it say's if you have nothing right now, ESPN+ will get you 40 games. That is incorrect, if you only have ESPN+ you will only get 2 games.

Most important thing to have is SECN and SECN+

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
LSU is scheduled to make 12 network TV appearances during the regular season – seven on the SEC Network, three on ESPN2, one on ESPNU and one on the Longhorn Network.

In addition, 39 regular-season games will be carried on SEC Network +, the online platform available at SECNetwork.com and the WatchESPN app.

Two LSU games will appear on ESPN+, the online subscription-based network, and the Tigers’ games in the Karbach Round Rock Classic February 24-26 will be streamed on D1Baseball.com, which is also a subscription-based service.

All of the Tigers’ postseason games in the SEC and NCAA Tournaments will be carried on an ESPN network or online platform.

In regards to Round Rock, will you have to watch this on the D1 website? Does anyone know if they have a D1 app for streaming on TV?

What's weird is I found several places saying ESPN+ can get you access to SECN+, I guess they forgot the qualifier of needing a cable/streaming TV package that includes SECN in that.

They couldn't make this any more confusing, in that case, ESPN+ is totally useless outside of the 2 games on ESPN+

This is how I watched last season. There were only a few games that did not get shown.

I've fixed the OP now about the ESPN+, was hard or me to tell since I have both ESPN+ and youtubetv, just saw some places you can see SECN+ through ESPN+ I think they just didnt mention the tv package needed qualifier to that.

Makes me want to cancel ESPN+ honestly knowing it only gets me 2 games all season long.

It's pointless to have it year round it you only use for LSU baseball. I know someone who uses it for other stuff. I log in, watch those two games, and I'm set.

I think ESPN purposely keeps this complicated to rake in people spending money that they don’t have to.

Last year someone posted the youtube name of someone who streams the games over youtube. The guy streaming the games over Youtube must be a geek, a LSU fan and a good all around bruh.

Added: Someone posted his channel. It's Cajunnomics YouTube channel

If you dont have a cable/streaming tv package with ESPN networks/SECN, I can recommend youtubetv. I've had it for a few years now and its been great. They are running a deal on it right now for $54.99/mo for first 3 months for new customers

Stay for 4 months and that’s the entire baseball season.

My favorite thing about youtubeTV is that you can cancel or pause it with 1 click and zero phone calls.

It's kind of weird how everything is on different channels but it's not that hard to figure out.

If it's an LSU home game or an SEC away game the game will either be on SECN+, SECN, ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. All of these can be watched on regular TV, except for games on SECN+. To watch those you will need to login using your TV provider on the ESPN app.

Most OOC away games are on ESPN+. To watch these you will need an ESPN+ subscription which is separate from your TV provider subscription. You will also need to login to the ESPN app to watch these. There are some exceptions, like with the Texas game being on LHN. LHN needs to be a part of your TV providers channel list for you to watch.

Neutral site tournaments have their own TV deals and you occasionally need to subscribe to something else to watch those.

All postseason games will be on a ESPN platform in some form. Could be a main ESPN channel or SECN+ or ESPN+
