I'll sum up how this thread is going to go:

Yeah, I know, right?
LSU didn't give them anything to talk about!
That's right! We sucked on every level.
Guys, can't we all just get along.

There. I just condensed 10 pages into one post.

If LSU would have played lights out and the announcers would have talked about how good we were then it would be ok.

The casual fan didn't grind all three games. They have to fill dead air and say the same things each game for the person that didn't watch the first two.

I had the game synced with the 105.3 broadcast. I was a couple seconds behind, but I didn't have to listen to those guys anymore. So it was nice.

Don't forget that....
Stony Brook wants to shock the world.
Mouton is the rally monkey, rescued from a gas station.
Stony Brook is a great foul ball hitting team, and even when the count is 0-2, you are behind.

did you know that the 'c' in JaCoby Jones is capitalized? he's not playin...

and yeah, it was pretty brutal after every LSU pitch we had to hear about how SB battles at the plate. I was hoping they could find something else to talk about.

Berthiaume just called me to let me know that Willie Carmona is SB's power hitter.

Just one more time.

The repetition is deliberate for viewer changeover and those who tune in and out. The announcers did a great job. So much better than listening to pawpaw Rollins and his obnoxious and chalkboard scraping voice.

I guess they should have said, "these LSU batters couldn't hit their way out of a wet bag."

This wasn't Tigervision. Just what were they supposed to say?

They had a hard on for sal the nine hole hitter

"most dangerous bin hole hitter in America"

"he's goin to med school, going to be an anesthesiologist, putting LSU to sleep"

Did you know that they saw more fans in 1 game at the Box than all season playing at home?

I like Ben McDonald's analysis but he was a little repetitive too.

"Ben, this Stony Brook team is for real."

"No doubt about it..."
