House or Aranda?

Full season almost complete and what House has done with less at multiple positions has been nothing short of the best coaching job on the defensive side of the ball in all of college. Especially his second half adjustments are unmatched.
Having an assassin at LB helps but Perk is just the icing. House built the cake.
I like Aranda a lot and obviously a Fantastic coach but what House has done in this single season after what was left I’m in aww.
I hope we can get 2-3 years for a solid foundation but if his dream job opens he deserves it.

In fairness, their bosses aren't equal.

Ask this question in a couple of years

Flip a coin. Both are outstanding.

This is true and a great point

Aranda at the moment. However, House has been great

Doesn’t seem like you can go wrong with either. I think House does an amazing job dissecting what the offense is doing in the first half, coming up with a plan to stop it and communicating that plan to his team during halftime in order to shut it down.
For Aranda, not sure I ever saw the in game adjustments, but it always seemed like he figured the other team out in the week leading up to the game.

I think Aranda did a great job here I’m just imagining Coach House with 18 and 2019 talent and the other SEC coaches having recurring nightmares.

I give the edge to Aranda solely on him winning a ring here.
But what House has done with a bunch of transfers and freshmen is incredible.

House. We have never had a DC that makes in-game adjustments and keeps the other team's offense from getting comfortable like House

Aranda is the most overrated DC in the history of LSU.

I would say House, to be honest.
Aranda had the benefit of following competent coordinators, who had guys well-matched to the schemes they were in. And also a bunch of highly-regarded players. He was able to come in and tweak things, and adjust over the course of a couple seasons to make it his own. When he came, it was 'a smart new guy' taking over an already good defense.
House came into a train wreck.
When he came (not counting incoming freshmen and tranfer portal guys), LSU basically had: a decent D line with some depth. 1 or 2 linebackers, and a couple safeties.
He's making this work with duct tape.
