Jays first 3 years we were all about the long ball. Jay does seem to prefer the approach and low line drive approach because of how it plays in Omaha. But I do anticipate having more HRs next season with Serna and Braun having another year under their belt they’re gonna be 15-20HR players and Bide is going to be around 18-20 as well.
Depending on who comes back or who comes in we could easily see our HR / game jump back up to 1.75-2.00 with the power we have returning.

The change in approach from 23 to 24 as far as hit by pitch goes was interesting. 22 and 23 we lived on the plate and refused to move.
The 24 team refused to stand in and take it, 25 didn’t take that many but they were fine on offense.
We need to get back to closer to the plate don’t move, get on base for guys and force pitchers to work

How much of that is solely attributable to Gavin Dugas?
I do agree we don't just wear them as much as we used to.

You have started 21 threads regarding Home Runs since March 18th. I refuse to go back more than 2 pages.
We do realize there is more to the game of baseball than home runs right?

That's a higher HR/Game average than last year; and the BA and OB% are similar to 2024. I think most can agree that offense wasn't the main issue this year.
Sure the clutch/timely hitting was missing at times. But that 5.72 staff ERA is the real problem (especially when you consider the walks and errors).

Sure but that’s not fun for me Might be fun for you but not fun for me
Is it “fun for you” when they hit 150 HRs and have a 6 era and .960 fielding percentage and lose or not make the tourney?
Isn’t it about winning?

Yes it is about winning for sure
If lsu only hit 50 homers and won a title, that would be great
Would it be fun for me? No but doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be happy for LSU
but it is way more fun to win when we are hitting homers
We hit 144 in 2023 and won it all
