Not from Louisiana. Plenty of pitchers in our back yard if you include Texas. Asking specifically about Louisiana HS pitchers.

That's true, but as of now .....
We don't need 9, but we need to get at least 5 with two of those being pitchers.
Something tells me we will get 1 or 2. I don't know if it is about money or just that no one wants to play here.

My bad, I assumed my reply to poster was about HS talent as he said most want to leave hone. I should have clarified.
That being said, Sam made the correct decision and even if Beth wanted her she wasn’t getting her. Unless you bleed P&G, you ain’t picking Beth over Gasso.
So, what HS state talent has left the state and done anything?

Why would LSU have an advantage with a kid from Texas who played at ULL over a program like Oklahoma?
If anything, her being at ULL would be a disadvantage.

Well, it looks as if kids jumping off the sinking ship. A poster on ultimate softball said the your hitting coach tried to leave and tried to get the Arkansas job. Things dont look good

LSU just doesn’t put any NIL into softball, and we’ll be a farm system for the programs that do put into NIL. Oregon athletics is facing something similar as they’ve struggled in retaining talent in every sport besides football.
We are fortunate our NIL keeps LSU as competitive in the big 3 to this point

This one is fishy. She has repeatedly said how she has been the happiest she has ever been playing softball while at LSU.
This is like Jada Richard to Ole Miss. Someone swooped in and threw a bag at a kid that otherwise had zero intention of leaving.
