Here we go again with throwing shite at the wall to see what sticks with things that may or may not be going on in the program. If that coach has been the head coach at another power 4 school and hasn't been removed since the season, I would think that there was an investigation by the administration and she was cleared.
I wasnt the biggest fan of hers, but I think the rehashing of those allegations is bullshite. I've seen too many coaches have careers ruined by false accusations where they are automatically assumed to be guilty, when it was the opposite.

Yeah if tech wants to spend that kind of $ I’m glad lsu is not dumb enough to overspend on a sport not many care about

Then get better and help LSU instead being the 19th ranked pitcher in sec and hitting sub ..300 with 40k’s. Where would LSU have been if Edwards would have repeated her Redshirt Freshman yr and Heavener was as good as Terry?

I’m going to try and list the pitchers that have regressed under Torina
Gorsuch
Wickersham
Sunseri
Berzon
Heavener
I may have missed some but those were some primaries.
I personally believe it’s because Beth tries to force the drop ball on all of them because that was her pitch, instead of coaching them to their strengths.

Heavener was about the same both yrs. Berzon was definitely worse her junior yr but why? Berzon was always a drop kid never changed..rumors she had an injury but she got no better at OU under the superstar guru Rocha. The other 3 were just pitchers, Sunseri was a AA because of hitting. Monticelli was better this yr than last. I do agree it seems most LSU pitchers are drop pitchers in a park that’s hard to hr..interesting

We have some amazing pitchers in state that continue to leave and go out of state. And I’m not talking about JUCO’s either. There’s an issue here if they continue to leave. A few leave to get away from home but most would love to play at LSU and have family watch every game. Beth constantly follows the same travel ball national teams and can’t coach them up. These athletes should be getting better under a college staff not regressing. I love what Coach Rick has been doing in Hammond with a lot of local talent. That’s coaching!

It’s called money, hundreds of thousands of dollars for pitchers in today’s market. LSU doesn’t have that kind of money for softball. It is what it is, the administration won’t invest that kind of money in softball therefore we always will be a mid sec team at best. Fremim’s local talent got abused this yr when he took on sec teams and underperformed in the regional.

Well, the LSU softball program has been looted. It's bankrupt and Beth Torina is the corporate president.
The only way to wright this ship is to win. It's the only way to get fans to donate to fund the NIL. Beth has her problems but the worst is not substituting effectively.

This is yet another Woodward special contract that nobody apparently wants to step up and buyout
She was extended till August 2028 back in 2024 and her contract is fully guaranteed . With her base plus supplemental guarantee being $455k/yr; it means she would be owed just south of $1M if fired today.
