Has Cade York passed Cole Tracy as the most loved LSU kicker ever?
Posted by Soup Sammich on 12/13/20 at 1:27 pm264
I have to go with yes.
1.Cade York
2.Cole Tracy
Tracy was automatic and clutch as hell but didn’t have the huge leg.
York is super clutch and damn near automatic from 50+. 9 of 11 from 50+ is ridiculous for a college sophomore kicker. He has a kickers body but a Janikowski leg. That 57 yarder to beat #6 Florida last night on the road and in a heavy fog was the greatest kick in program history, IMO. And it’s not even close.
Plus York has NCAA and SEC Title rings.
York is Cole Tracy with a Wade Richey leg if you use just LSU kickers to compare to.

57 yard GW in the fog on the road to beat the #6 team on their Senior night as 23 point dogs is the stuff that not only goes down in LSU history but in SEC history with Van Tiffin's 52 yarder to win the Iron Bowl.

Until one of them get a Heisman campaign going, they’re all fighting for second #corbellogoat

The only reason I edge out cole tracys kick vs auburn is the weight and how damn good the kick was despite the length. It was dead perfect w extra.
But it was tied. Cole Tracy kicked down by 2 for the walk off. Its insanely close imo. I think its the only game I got teary eyes for. I hate auburn to death.

Tracey is still more liked, York's the best we’ve had
And corbello was robbed of the heisman

Even though Cole's Auburn kick was a walk off game winner, it's really hard to do better than last night and all of the variables involved.
Cade is bae now, though I'll always love Cole.

Ironically enough that amazing performance is likely to be over shadowed by the mediocre Vandy kicker just because of genitalia

I don't think many fans have really absorbed the magnitude of that win last night b/c we're all laughing about the shoe.
The only way it could have been any better is if the Swamp was full of Jort-wearing fricktards.
