So for $10 mill a year I’m getting 50% accuracy.

That is terrible.

That was done in 2021-2022 set it back and couple that with NIL and transfer portal.
Go look at my prediction of 8-4 from before the season started. You don’t lose your entire identity on offense (Jayden running and passing to Nuss immobility and a first year starter) and go through that shite show on defense without it being a transitional year. I’m sorry if people couldn’t see this from a mile away. Looks a lot like 2008 and 2009.

Enjoy never being able to afford going to the games in person. Pay someone 50 million to sit on his couch and commit 100 million to the next guy who you want to dismiss after 4 years.

You bitch about the price of the game day experience now.....just wait. Boosters don't boost for the hell of it.

Not a fan of the product he is putting on the field. However, due to that, ticket prices tend to be trending in a good direction for anyone wanting to go to a game

Throw in Ryan Clark as well. I can’t stand that a-hole. Its not only the racist shite he spews but also I can’t stand a dickhead who thinks they are brilliant and loves to hear themselves talk.

I will be fine.

Direct your anger at BK and Woodward, not me.

BK needs to find 22 players that want to fight and win a game as a team. Most of these guys are probably on the bench right now. I would like to see something different next week. The starters on this team don't appear to be comitted to winning right now. I think this is why Saban retired. Try the guys with no paychecks.

No one is angry at you. But realities are realities. You and anyone else who buys a ticket and goes to the games pays for the coach's salary....indirectly

I know our roster should get better, but has it really in 3 years?
I am more concerned about the style of play on both offense and defense and ST. LSU' schematic approach to football in general is about as uninspiring and dull and predictable as bad football can be. When my wife can call the next play on both offense and defense while cooking, something is wrong.....and it is very wrong and every team we play has a 90% idea of what we are going to do.
When was the last time LSU line up with 7 men on the los on defense?
When was the last time LSU didn't have two safeties 20 yds off the los and backing up at the snap on 3rd and 12?
LSU often plays defense with 9 personnel because the safeties might as well not be on the field.
BK has destroyed this program and he has one chance and I think it is very slim and that is on a 18 yr old hs qb in Michigan. If he bails to Michigan or anywhere else, I have serious doubts our 25 recruiting class will be in the top 25 in the country come signing day. If he comes, others will come also, if not, LSU will become the doormat in the SEC for at least the next 8 years. I wish it weren't true.

Signing day is in 2 weeks. Sign the kids who are committed. Only 2-3, expected to flip dont break the class. If more do then yeah it could.

And the g, c gave up the sacks. Not the 2 tackles

How do you supplement the lack of playable players from what was a poor inherited roster?

It is not right or wrong, but Kelly chose to go hard in the portal. He has hoped to stay competitive that way, while building the roster through high school recruiting.

The inherited roster was bad. I don't care what Kelly said about being a playoff contender in 3 years. Anyone who believed that was smokin arse. The only way that was happening this year was if Nussmeier set the world on fire, and he has been terrible.

I hope those post-Polian classes don’t quit on the team and are good enough to actually get on the field, unlike the 2023 class.

Destroyed it? Not yet. This season is obviously a complete wash now. The O lineman flipping to Ole Miss whether that’s been in the works for weeks now or not, it’s a sign.

I’m done defending him as well. But I will say he needs to keep the majority of this class together. Get a new OC and maybe even look at replacing Davis on the O Line.

And even though I agreed with his comments about not building a team through the portal, he’s gotta hit it hard this year or next season will be much of the same. We don’t have the bodies in the trenches or on the outside like we used to. And lack depth behind our average bodies.

If he can identify these things and address them, he may salavage himself. A bunch of you will not like him no matter what. I’m not going there yet. The guy can coach. Just a bunch of things one year after the next, some out of his control, while following the guy who depleted the roster. But this is the last year for any excuses other than him fixing it or being held 100% accountable. And if the powers that be find the change in the couch to make a move if next year is just like this one, Kelly will have no one to blame but himself.

But I don’t think the program is destroyed yet. It’s on solid ground but slipping some.

Don’t forget that he portrays himself as one of those pompous French powdered wig fancies. That professional design initial logo pen always reminds me of old ladies that wear a broach.

I give him 2 more years before we start seeing where he’s headed:

The tackles aren’t the ones giving up the sacks. The pressure is coming as our C and LG either ignore rushers, and/or get pushed backwards at a rapid clip.

3 of the top 6 recruits from the 2023 class quit after one year. The majority of the rest of them aren’t good enough to get significant playing time. I hope the future classes don’t turn out like that.

Well, it was a portal-heavy class which in itself will turn out some nfl players.

In a perfect world sophomores would not start for you unless they are freakish players. LSU has several that are being forced to play ahead of schedule, and it remains to be seen how the experience will mold them. Most of the time the growing pains are net positive for development.

The attrition in CFB is inevitable, but I do hate when they leave after 1 season. I believe they learned some lessons from this class in terms of who, & where they recruit from.
