re: Brian Kelly vs Les Miles CFB HOF

Yup! A comeback win is a win! And you are bringing up a time period where I was over Miles too. But in his almost decade absence I have come around to appreciate his overall piece of work. But your whole post still missed my point. I don’t understand why Miles is looked at so negatively and B...
BK has 7 seasons in which his team either went undefeated or had only 1 loss
Yet a lot of ND fans feel the same way about BK as you with Miles. ND and BK had a nice reputation of getting to the big games and really playing well. Right? So winning a lot of games but never the big ...

I don't get why the Les Miles haters LOVE BK. Why does BK get such a pass on his flaws when Miles get roasted for similar. Is it because we won the West and beat Bama in year one? Doesn't matter if it was Miles' first year or last, if he loses 40-13 at home like BK did to Tenn he gets roasted...
You're wasting your time. There's a Les Miles cult on here that still worships him. They'll never admit how incompetent he was.
I think the cult would be the other way. The cult that can’t get by their resentment for the guy. I’ve been in this thread defending him and i certainl...
Kirby would be 3-3 against Saban with a 3rd Championship if a couple plays go Georgia's way instead of Bama's, not really to the fault of Kirby. They've almost always looked well-coached and competent against Saban. Les usually had the guys playing hard, but you always felt that Saban was ...
The difference is, Saban and Kirby weren't/aren't costing their teams 2-3 games a season because of mismatched scheme and horrific game management gaffes.
Yet Kirby Smart is 1-5 against Saban. Georgia very well could be running on a 4-5 year dynasty but Saban has stood in the way....
I never understand the "LSU wins despite their coach" argument and especially to discredit Miles. If LSU wins despite their coaches why did 45 years pass between 1958 and 2003 without a National Championship win or appearance? Did Louisiana just suddenly become a football rich state after 2000? No...

I'd throw Dwayne Bowe and Buster Davis in the mix too. Buster Davis didn't do shite in the NFL but both Bowe and Davis were first round draft picks....
Started to type a responses. Deleted and moved on. OP is an idiot....

“All talent from previous coach to create a championship team.” Who would’ve thought we would see the day PM and Les Miles are getting love again on the Rant....
Johnson is 3x the coach that mainieri was at Paul's best. It's impossible to be just as successful year in and out with NIL.
Based on what evidence? Both won a Natty in their first 3 years of being in BR. PM went to Omaha 2 of his first 3 years. We aren’t on the Omaha trajectory...
Rahim Alem. RIP! but when I was a student I use to see that dude in the quad all the time and he was an angry and scary looking dude!...
Thus the actual strategy that our excellent staff has is unknown, but the fear of is not seeming to have a strategy is what gets kicked around this board as if it’s a fact. We don’t know what we don’t know. And this staff is always very quiet. I have faith they will address the DL and CB issu...
Sh*t at this point why not lol. We need bodies & BK will get his a** aligned or he will show him the door.
Building the roster with dudes that can't be trusted to be available for big games?!? Worked real well with Denver Harris and Duce Chesnut. This dude has the same background...
House easily for me. At least during the Miles Era we would have some elite RBs to get excited about running the toss dives and I-formation. Hester, K.Williams, Ware, Ford, etc. and especially Guice and Fournette were fun to watch. No doubt a frustrating pass game though. House has taken away an...
Everybody wants to give Kelly all the credit for turning around the offensive side of the ball. 7 of our 11 starters were brought in by BK. ...but somehow its still Coach O's fault for the awful defense Kelly has put on the field. Its O's fault why we're getting out-schemed. Its Os fault w...

re: Who to root for? Ole Miss v A&M

Posted by OzChuffnugg on 11/2/23 at 11:11 am
Ole Miss 100%. I only root for the Cult once a year and that is when they are playing the gumps. Georgia will take care of the other L we need. I want Ole Miss to stomp that weird arse Cult. ...
We are really talking playoff scenarios with Bama, Florida, and A&M still to get through?!?...
Dude is a POS but in prison is a bit dramatic....
Go to LSU and be a part of a really crowded WR room or go to FSU and be THE guy. Seems like an easy decision for even the simpletons to understand. Maybe we need more from the 5* WR we did get in the portal instead of bitching about the guys we didn’t get. ...
