Nice to see some good, hard runs from him tonight. He picked his spots and kept moving his legs looking for more yards.
58 yards on the ground (8.3 avg) & the nice swing pass that went for 20-30 yds, but came back due to a penalty. He and D. Jones can make a very productive duo.

Put Berry in the slot when Jones is in the backfield. Run inside, run outside, or pass with that personnel group.

He’s got the ability to just take one on any play. His reps almost looked like an audition too. Go show us what you can do.

He seemed to have trouble with the speed of the offensive system. Could it be that he hasn’t been in shape to stay fresh for a full drive at warp speed?

It’s obvious he can run but struggles in pass protection. He also missed a run block for leavitt. Put the ball in his hands and he can be electric.

He actually cut inside on a few runs. He has to continue to be patient and cut back inside with the zone read blocking scheme.

Glad to see he got back in as his first two plays in the first half were total trash.

He did look good. It was never about talent. In most cases where he has a little daylight, he makes it look like he could house any run. He has just been stymied by either poor OL play, lack of vision (probably patience is more likely) and it looks like he has worked on that.

Let's hope. He's a dynamic runner who can et to the edge and has elite burst. He may never become a complete back ie blocking and between the tackle runner, but he has gotten a bit bigger and showed some ability to break tackles.
He'd be a great change of pace RB and we need a good RB2.

He was getting chewed out by Kevin Smith for missing a block on one of Sam’s designed runs. I believe it was in the first half. I was 20 rows up behind the bench.

I saw both QBs yell at him during the game for what seemed to be him in the wrong spot following a play

He had to forcefully gain weight because he was/is so small. Speed & quickness is usually compromised when this happens and you cannot naturally add weight.

He was benched early in the game when he got his chance with the starters for not blocking anyone on a QB run.

Kid is great with the ball in his hands; he’s not very good when the ball isn’t in his hands. In 2026, that’s not good enough.
