Always greatful for 2019. Amazing year and the players were recruited under his watch. He went after Burrow when hardly anyone else did.

Wish he could have held it together and gone on to do more great things. But he didn't and we had to move on. Not really any hard feelings. He made the offensive changes that needed to be made for years. I resent Les a lot more than Coach O. Les should have been fired the following season after 21-0.

We are in a good place and have a respected coach and coaching staff.

Idk, I think he was a better football coach than Les Miles. He just couldn't handle the success, and he wasn't PC enough to say the right things when all the BLM and racial movements happened during covid.

Seems like they were just exulting over beating Auburn in a great comeback.

Nick Saban was 48-16 at LSU.

After 64 games as LSU coach the Birthday Boy's record was 48-16.

FACT.

But he’s only 1 of 5 LSU head coaches to do it. (1908 included)
Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good !
That being said…Happy Birthday Coach O !

He was doing better until his wife relapsed and screwed him over apparently. Then the political backlash over him complimenting Trump over his COVID response. He got a raw deal

Is it ironic that the Coach with the worst winning percentage against Bama since Charlie Mac said this?

I’ll always appreciate what he did. It did not take him long to build the best team ever. He gave us the best season ever and it was the perfect storm after that with his divorce, covid, and all the turmoil of 2020. His motivation probably tanked that year. Some coaches can handle those things. He could not.

I’d shake his hand and say thank you if I saw him today.

Winning with O felt like, “this shouldn’t be happening” — that was great
