Not much difference in Johnson’s 2 starts vs Brennan’s 3 starts. Johnson leads us to a win vs a Top 10 Gator team and Ole Miss while Brennan has a single win vs Vandy.
I don’t really care who starts. It’s up to the new OC to make that determination. It’s not a done deal for Brennan.

Max is the man. Future 1st rounder.

It's laughable how people think Brenan will have to battle to be the starting QB next year.

I thought the same way until the Florida game. Brennan most likely does not win that game for us because he is not mobile enough.

Look at the stats on the year. Passing stats between Brennan and Max are for the most part equal, but Max took fewer sacks and had over 100 yd rushing to Brennans negative number.

It is not a gimme that its Brennan's job.

Excellent point. To me the scary part is deciding who starts by the end of spring. Orgeron picked Finley over Max, which now appears was wrong.

sadly the TJ over Max thing might have been to try and make up for offseason mishaps.

Max warmed up when we thought Brennan wasn't going to come back in vs Mizzou

Max also didn’t have Arik and Terrace.

We don’t even know how Myles injury is going to effect him going forward. I highly doubt they are going to just give it to Brennan without a competition. Excited to see who makes it out. I’d really like to see max johnson get more game time because he could be a monster by his senior or junior year if he stays. If Brennan wins we will have a good qb as well. It’s a win-win situation. All three have great talent.

Myles really needs a dominate passing blocking line

Exactly. Look if we had an elite tier oline I think Brennan would win the starting position. However we need a somewhat mobile qb like we had with burrow. With Brennan's hip injury this could even more affect his mobility. Max johnson I believe will win the spot, and he has the offseason to shore up his deep ball accuracy. I'm glad brennan waited and didn't transfer but that doesn't mean he deserves the starting spot.

All the T.Jandon Harrisley (Brandon Harris Clone) jock sniffers say that's an intolerant, insensitive and racist statement.

Watch out, you'll have them all upset and

If you thought he was horrible vs state then you just started watching LSU offenses last year.

Brennan is probably done with football. Sad story but i'd be willing to be on it.

3 way qb competition is between Johnson, TJ and Nuss.. which makes complete sense.

In hindsight it's hard to see how that was ever a competition. Davey was injury prone but he was fat black Dan Marino.

Scary what he can accomplish once he gains confidence.
he played some horrifically bad defenses. Mizzou had walkons on their defense.

The post you reference is a valid opinion. It's your idiot take on him that is veiled racism. The only similarity Brandon Harris and TJ Finley have is skin color.

On the final drive against Florida we threw underneath on 3rd and long and didn't get close until the personal foul. We would have had a better chance with Brennan in that situation.

Myles Brennan has cinder blocks for feet.

He's a serviceable runner when he takes off. Fast and quick are different things. But he's not just slow in the pocket he lacks the pocket awareness to simply shift and let the pocket reform.

Max and Brennan we're both sacked 9 times. MJ had 119 rushing yards on 54 attempts. If you take away the sacks (53 yards) he rushed for 172 yards on 45 attempts for 3.8 ypc.

I think he will need to average closer to 5-6 yards per carry on designed rushing plays for it to be a key part of the offense.

Eta: I think a good modern comparison for Max's skillset would be Sam Ehlinger.
