re: Had Paul Skenes lost his mojo?

He has been more impacted by ABS than other pitchers because he's an edge pitcher. He is losing pitches now that were called strikes before. Its forcing him to throw tighter. He will adjust. He still has top 3 stuff. I also believe the velocity change is intentional. Its just the long game for his career.

She won’t be “laying” with you for long.
You just skipped over that he's a star in the MLB...
You're trying too hard.

He’s unfortunately stuck in Pittsburgh
For now. But he's almost certainly going to be in line for an insane amount of money that Pittsburgh may not be willing to pay. Then the question becomes do they trade him right before that time, to cash in on his value (most likely case) or let him walk once he can.
I guess a lot can depend on a salary cap structure and what that will look like too.

But can’t say his velocity dip isn’t a bit concerning. He’s down from averaging 99 his rookie year to 97 this season. His last start his average velo was 96.5 which was the lowest in his career.
Paul and the Pirates staff were asked about this in the past week. They said it is all an effort to get Paul all the way through the season healthy. Probably will curb a few needless innings too.

Him giving up and the pirates tanking him is almost as ridiculous as asking if Paul Skenes has lost his mojo right?
My asking how anyone can’t see his improvement over last year was in reference to the idiots in here asking if he’s lost his mojo and claiming he has regressed.
Try to be less of an a-hole. It appears that might be tough for you though.

And you obviously skipped over my point. You should actually try harder.

Almost as stupid as the OP correct?
Work on your comprehension.

So your response to a ridiculous post is to post stuff even more ridiculous? And that somehow makes you the smart one.
You don't get to pretend like you were being sarcastic now.

Are you stupid or something or just an a-hole?

One of us is stupid, and the other one is an a-hole. I'll let you try to figure it out from there.

It’s how LSU fans cope with less than stellar performances by former players in the pro ranks. Prime example is Sam burns, which we haven’t gotten our weekly thread about him yet.

Hey, I hope he continues to dominate. Some of his recent outings have been average. I hope he goes 7 scoreless with 10 K soon.

Yeah add him to those Cy Young caliber pitchers like Roger Clemens (his days were over many times, over 20 years), same with Nolan Ryan, that just don't have any longevity prospects.
