Guice is really really fast. He's got plenty of speed to break one.

I saw him do it multiple times in a game in high school. Granted it isn't the same, but Guide has the speed and the shake to do it. He should be returning punts. Let Jackson do kicks and play less corner.

I like Guice. He almost took one the entire way against A&M last season.

Agree just look at guices avg returning kicks it's in the bottom half of the league and you saw what Jackson can do vs jville state. Why have a guy back there who's never taken one back past the 50 when you have a guy you know can house one at any time. Jackson is on a different level when it comes to speed also.

I like Guice but I HOPE we have someone more suited to kickoff returns than him. I think he has been awarded the position because he is good and is a safe ball handler and the coaches want to get him some playing time since he is playing RB behind LF!

I really think drake Davis has the best chance to be a great return man , maybe even Derrick Dillion .

Yep. As another dude said... great kick returners don't break tackles. They are speed guy's that hit a hole, make one or two guys miss and are gone.

Guice is a below average KR in the leagues statistically, put the burners in there. Speed kills.

Guice longest return of the year is 29 yards that isn't past the 50.

Worry about ball security with donte. His hands aren't great either but man he's electric. Guice will break one. Bookmark this for Saturday if he gets some chances I feel he's gonna do it this Saturday. It's coming.

I don't look at it as Guice shouldn't be returning kicks but more as Donte Jackson should be. Biggest threat LSU has for busting one.

Hasn't Donte already taken 2 back with 1 negated by penalty? Guice is cool, but he isn't spectacular returning kickoffs.

I know a player smaller than him that use to return kickoffs for LSU and he was dynamite. Speed is where it's at.

Yeah, but that guy almost immediately headed up field. Now that may be a function of the special teams execution (better blocking schemes/running lane design) but that is probably the reason they prefer Guice.

I think Miles cares more about ball security on Kick returns than taking it to the house. I mean we had Darrell Williams back there last year.

This is true... fire miles

Jk, I like this strategy... a fumble on the kickoff would all but guarantee at least three points for the bad guys
