You didn't read the story.
The article has one woman and a former player claiming that O swept this under the rug.

What are you talking about? Neither woman claims this at all.
As for the former player, “he believed O knew about the assault,” without giving any reason for that belief. If there was any concrete info that O knew a rape had occurred that would be the quote.
At worst, O might have heard rumors it was non consensual. Although it seems highly doubtful. But as no formal complaint was made and the ictim didn’t want an investigation to happen, her own words, even in that instance is O supposed to assume a rape based on rumors through the grapevine?

That women was reached out to by lsu officals, and she chose not to report anything or go forward. Nothing was swept under the rug besides from the woman herself

Seems like these cases where the victim is consistent in their story has a much better chance of seeing justice.
Too often the victim tells different people different versions of the story and a difficult process becomes practically impossible

This is another case of an article include unsubstantiated and misrepresented information in a way to draw more out of story by the reader than the facts show.
It happens all over the media now, and this is just more of the same.
There are 2 incidents being discussed with one having a student not filing a complaint or willing to file one after the LSU offices reached out to her,.
The second is one where the student may or may not have filed the complaint on her own based on the story, but was looking to see if LSU had one on file for her. LSU told her yes, but that Guice was not named in it. Supposed evidence by both is missing because of reasons that make no sense. E.g. I still have my old phones which would have text messages on them.
This is in no way stating that these alleged incidents didn't happen. If they did, I feel for these young women. What is in question is whether they filed with the appropriate channels, and one we know didn't file at all and refused to cooperate with LSU's investigation.
People simply need to be patient and stop jumping to conclusions on these types of stories, because unlike in the past, journalism is not about getting the facts out there. It's purely about pushing a narrative whether there are facts to support it or not, and whether you can massage the language enough to misrepresent facts without technically lying.

Well her time line doesn’t add up. If it happened in Jan and June that is les miles
Posted on 8/19/20 at 12:35 pm to Big4SALTbro
They’re taking direct quotes from a player on Coach O, so someone’s timeline is inaccurate based on the little amount of info presented

More likely investigated and called bullshite. I mean read the article. Even with the biased slant the news gives you can smell the bullshite a mile away.

This is what happens when the dumbass Obama administration puts the responsibility of dealing with rapes on college administrators instead of the police. Case after case of university bungling rape cases when the police would have actually handled it. Their decision to put that responsibility on universities created the whole problem we’ve seen over and over again.

Guice has always been a total piece of shite, dating back to before his LSU days.

Guice was one of my favorite LSU players ever, but he sounds like a piece of garbage. I believe the women because that many women just don't make that kind of crap up, especially against a high profile athlete. That takes a lot of guts to speak out!
As for O's comments, I hope it isn't true. If so, O needs to be replaced. As a leader of a major Division I football program, you have to be the example for others to follow. To downplay a woman getting raped isn't acceptable.
I love O but this situation is much bigger than college football. He has some questions to answer!

Well that isn’t true at all considering if you look at this on a scale it doesn’t touch what Penn state or Michigan state did.
Also all the major components are gone other than compliance

I think this may be because of the lawsuit that was brought forth in June with the other NCAA players??
