I doubt O pulled a joe pa and swept this under the rug. Plus he was a d line coach I doubt he was told anything.
I also hate joe alleva but with his MO no way this was covered up. You don’t go from killing teams over allegations to sweeping them under the rug.

Got it—thanks for the clarification

I didn't know 90% of college males got arrested for strangulation. I guess I was lucky.
That's not what you said.
You said other people told you about his so-called dark side of partying and women before the strangulation story ever came out.
That doesn't make someone automatically a rapist.
If the other stuff you heard included "strangling women and raping them" then sure, that's one messed up "other side" of guice
If I found out one of my fraternity brothers was arrested for rape and/or strangulation, my immediate response wouldnt be "Oh, we shouldve known because he liked to drink and hook up with chicks when we were in college"

Any reporter like Wolken that is on a which hunt should start with Kansas but LSU needs to man up and start black listing media members.
I do think to show we are proactive we should fire the entire compliance department.

That occurred to me too. Perhaps that is telling in this case; maybe he didn’t jump to conclusions and waited for facts (I.e he learned). Not really sure. For all his faults, pretty sure F King would have known what to do.

How old are you? Have you never had drunken college sex?
One of the girls literally told the interviewer that she couldn't remember the incident, but she had "flashbacks". Yet she is certain she would have never given consent.
Something is up. I think right now, you have to look at what's more likely; the complete and utter failure of the ENTIRE political, law enforcement, coaching, and compliance system or another case of regret rape.

If the staff at LSU covered this up everyone should be fired and NCAA should act accordingly.

I told y’all asses about this dude when he slinging bricks still while at LSU. Ed’s remark to the teammate make it seems like she was for everybody.

No. We have a Court system and Laws in this country. Apparently, many of you do not realize this.
We do not try cases in the newspapers or on Twitter. The 1st thing necessary to try a case is to FILE CHARGES which neither of these two females did.
You do not condemn an individual because you may not like him based on allegations from years ago which were never acted on by the supposed victims.
It is not LSU's place to act against any student based on unsubstantiated allegations. LSU is not a Court Of Law nor can they investigate Felonious allegations. These charges must be filed by these women and they declined to do so. So how does LSU investigate charges from anyone when they refuse to act legally against their alleged rapist?
Many of you need a basic Civics Course.

My gf is close friends with an OT 8 who was very close with Guice at LSU. She was over last week and brought up the allegations and being cut by Washington.
She’s had him over many times, even late night, and he drove her home often when she was too f’d up. She admits that he can get pretty angry at times, but says that the allegations are complete bullshite and there’s nothing ‘rapey’ about him.
This came from a 5’5 blonde white girl who’s own father knows Guice.
Come on man, don't do this. Every rapist doesn't rape every attractive person they come across, every sexual harasser doesn't harass every, serial killers don't kill every person, etc.

So the haters have Guice convicted of rape, and O convicted of failing to report it. Without knowing who the girl or the boyfriend is. And without knowing if a charge was even filed.
All done in the blind and before noon. Nice work, haters.
And some of the same guys who wanted Aleva hung for jumping the gun at Duke. LOL

If it's true that coaches were told at the time, and Orgeron knew about it, then this will bring down the entire program aka Baylor.
You better be scared. Because LSU is on the precipice of spiraling down so fast you'll wish your only problem was an annoying Dick Vitale.

Why are you trying to stir shite? He said raping someone drunk is still rape, not the garbage you posted.

Especially Joe Alleva, for crying out loud. Let's not forget the situation at Duke just before he got here.

The first girl refused to cooperate with LSU and would not file a complaint. LSU is clear on this case.
The second girl, well, there are some odd things in this article..
Followed by this...
Did she file another claim against someone else?
This isn't adding up.

Seems like BS reporting to me.
The article has details that call their stories into question. I’m not saying Guice is innocent, but there’s red flags regarding the stories at LSU.
quote:
The other woman said LSU emailed her after a friend reported the alleged assault, letting the woman know support services were available and asking if she wanted to file a formal complaint. She said she did not file one.
quote:
Neither woman reported the incidents to law enforcement
quote:
None of them witnessed the incidents take place.
quote:
The coach then reported it to athletics officials, who called the friend in to question her, she said. The friend said she could not recall the name of the official she spoke with, but that it was a woman. “They said they couldn’t do anything because (the victim) didn’t want to talk, and because it didn’t happen to me
quote:
When a nurse at the health center asked if she planned to pursue a complaint against Guice, the woman said no.
quote:
The former player said he doesn’t know how Orgeron knew what happened, but he believes the coach knew it was not consensual.
quote:
The friend told her to go and lock herself in his bedroom, which she did, but Guice pounded on the bedroom door until she opened it, she said. “I just unlocked the door and looked at him,” the woman recalled. “He started going off and saying I don’t know who he is, I don’t know who I’m messing with and he should go and get his gun. I told him, ‘Do what you need to do.’
quote:
She got into drugs and was arrested. She wound up in rehab.
quote:
I was very drunk,” she said. “Way too drunk to give consent in the first place.”
quote:
The woman made it to her apartment, where she lived alone. She and Guice went separate ways. Sometime after, Guice texted her asking if he could come over, she said. She said she texted back allowing him to come but saying nothing was going to happen.
quote:
The woman was not able to retrieve a copy of the text message, as she has since gotten a new phone and did not keep the messages.
quote:
She told a few close friends that Guice had taken advantage of the situation, though she did not explicitly describe it as rape at the time, she said.
quote:
The woman said she had been abusing alcohol and prescription drugs before she met Guice.
quote:
Sell ultimately dismissed her from the team after she tested positive for a drug that she had not been prescribed.
