Travis didn't really beat us with his feet, huh? I don't recall seeing him scrambling around and killing us. Ya'll correct me if I'm wrong. Perkins would have just been standing there, as he killed us with his passing.

Jesus man, do you think every offseason adjustment by every coach is supposed to work every time?
Matt House was an NFL LB coach, he knows what he’s doing. It didn’t work in week 1 and now they’re adjusting. Isn’t that what we want?

This is so dumb, for me to think the coach took our best weapon away as a sophomore to have him run drills against Florida State and get our arse beat to prove his worth at the next level is just crazy.
Do that shite in a blowout game and use as practice.
The combine isn’t for another two seasons for Perkins. Let’s win some damn games with him.
I’m sure he is game for playing like a madman for 4 quarters.
His stock will be fine.

That’s great if Perk is going back to the edge but how the frick did the coaching staff just spend all offseason preparing him to play a different position?
Be alarmed if after an entire offseason, scrimmages etc, they were unable to accurately assess and waited to see a game.

You are exactly right. Experiment vs Grambling and GA Southern and Army and maybe Miss St. Not vs the #8 team in the country to open the season. It doesn't matter if Perk plays every down on D. If he is not in a position where he can disrupt the offense, primarily as an edge rusher, his presence will make no difference. If it ain't broke don't fix it !!!

Sometimes experiments fail.
I just personally thought it had OBVIOUSLY failed midway through the third quarter when FSU adjusted to Harold basically not being in the game. So I wish they would have made this decision then, instead of waiting for an international embarrassment to occur and for reporters to speak on it before the coaching staff.
But at least it’s being done!!!

I want them to quit worrying about where guys may or may not play in the NFL and worry about where they need to play to help LSU win games. I would like them to realize that some things aren’t going to work before the game and if they can’t do that, I want them to make adjustments during the game, neither of which they did. But yes, I’m glad he will be in the correct position against Grambling instead of Florida State.
LSU just lost an opening game by 21 points on national tv and you seem to be upset that people are criticizing the coaching staff that did an awful job at getting the team ready to play.
