Good morning from Ole Miss country! Natives are worried.

Seated beside a table of 6 of them at dinner last night.....pissed that the SEC isn't going to do anything to Lane/LSU ( they keep getting away with anything they want to do and it's not right!), Lane and Charlie are going to out-scheme us, etc.

Reminds me of when I was in a bar in Lawton Oklahoma around 2006. These locals were doing shots and chanting some chant . At the end of the chant they all said frick LSU. I laughed my arse off. That was 3 years after we beat them for a natty

I am going to Oxford this weekend to visit friends and it will be very interesting to hear the chatter regarding LSU. We will go to the game and tailgate at the grove and I bet there will be one hell of a lot of talk about LSU and Lane Kiffin. I know these people are obsessed with LSU hate and they cannot get this situation out of their head.

I think these 2 players have been kept abreast of everything going on with this
Some will say LSU hung em out to dry, i disagree LSU was protecting LSU

“LSU gets away with anything they want to do”.. I don’t think we have a player on our roster that’s playing his 6th year so they might want to retract that statement…

Lane is going to want to embarrass Ole Miss. I doubt Weis has as much animosity towards them, but maybe that’s changed over the past couple of weeks.
I hope LSU has the 3rd string in midway through the 4th and is still running the score up.

We live in Hattiesburg and my kids go to a private school. I’ve been in the hospital in Houston waiting for a heart for three months so I’ve had plenty of time to keep up with everything that’s going on and have talked to my 11 year old daughter a little bit about it. She keeps up with the Tigers the best she can. She came home yesterday and was FaceTimed me. Keep in mind, this school is predominantly ole miss fans. This was our convo:
Her: Daddy, did you hear that they aren’t kicking LSU out of the SEC?
Me: Yes baby, but we knew that four days ago when the conversation started happening, because we have common sense
Her: Yea, I didn’t think so. It sounded pretty stupid the way they described it. They just seemed more mad than anything.
Me: Who is “they”?
Her: Pretty much everybody at school. Some of the kids in my class were mad and talking to me about it. They said we should’ve gotten kicked out for cheating. I just said “LSU didn’t do anything different than the other schools. Y’all are just butt hurt that we took your coach.”
Me: Well played kiddo. Well played.
So this is even getting down to the kids and affecting them. I for one, am happy about it because that means the hatred for LSU from ole miss fans is still being sewn in at an early age. Our little brother isn’t going away anytime soon.

I don’t believe they were hung out to dry and I am confident this discussion was had with them at some point before their lawsuit was even filed, but I could be wrong.
