OP ... I'm sure you knew before you took time to post .... but you are wasting your time and effort trying bring some sanity to this panic party.
There are too many experts on here to allow that to happen.

Lol LET ME HAVE YOUR MONEY!! DONT CARE AT ALL WHAT I DO WHITH IT! JUST SHUT UP AND GIVE ME YOUR MONEY
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard buddy. It's called capitalism and you'll see the power of the dollar once 0 lays an egg this year and season ticket renewals are in the shitter. There is already no waiting list for season tickets for the first time in years. Excitement for the program is low and it's all because of alleva and 0. You'll see how quickly their tune changes once they can no longer nickel and dime fans

So you've seen improvement In the year O has been here?
Just because I'm not crying about the 10 year slump we are about to go into (people are certain of this) doesn't mean I'm a sunshine pumper.
He's going to be around at least 3 years and I'm willing, and honestly have no choice, to see what happens. Crying about his past SEC record isn't going to change the fact that he's the coach.

This is fair, but at what point have you seen enough to realize he isn’t cut out for the job? For me, that point was the Mississippi State game.

Many of you should find something else to do with your emotions. It's a stupid football game played by a bunch of 20 yr old kids. Nobody with any sense cares if we lose 4 or 5 games this year. So fricking what? It's just football.
If it's merely a stupid game that no one cares about, why does this site exist, and why do one hundred thousand people come to Baton Rouge (and various other college campuses) to watch the games, and why do television networks shell out millions for the broadcast rights, and so on and so forth. And most importantly, if it's merely a game that merits no attention, why did you just invest time and obvious (hyperbolic) emotion in drafting your post regarding LSU football, you hypocritical dunce? Perhaps you should actually embody your professed philosophy and leave. Go devote your time and puny intellect to more worthy causes.

Coach O is 3-22 in the SEC as a head coach
and Bill Bellicheck was the head coach of the Browns! But you're right it's completely impossible for a coach to ever improve

One game doesn't make a coach. I know I'll get his Ole Miss record thrown at me, so whatever. We make adjustments and prepare with the Troy game, and he has a tough game at the Swamp in 2 weeks. How we respond to that will say volumes IMO. If we crap the bed in Gainesville, I'm not too confident moving forward.

Sure, but we didn’t exactly look great last week. Or against Florida or Bama last year.

. I think the game vs Syracuse was a lot more entertaining than the game vs BYU who couldn't cross the midfield.
So instead of watching LSU play dominating defense, efficient offense and an overall flawless game you'd rather watch them struggle? That's more entertaining to you? So if LSU starts to take a big lead do you start cheering for the other team to catch up? There's been some good thoughts in this thread, both on the positive and negative side, but this comment is baffling. You do you, but I'd rather see my Tigers beat the hell out of people if they're capable, thanks.

I gave them all a chance. When the O haters were saying how much he sucked. I was there saying, let's play some games first. That was because I believed they were telling the truth about the progress of their team and their ability to do the job right.
Some just hate coach O because we didn't hire up. But most just hate what LSU has become and this horrid offense we were told would be great. Sorry but I don't believe them anymore. It's not about them, it's about the school they coach that I'm a fan of and IMO, they're letting that school down tremendously.

Wow. Turn in your fan card immediately. This is just offensive. I mean...why even post? Why even watch?

Well I'm not an O hater but Canada can pound sand. His offense looks gimmicky and soft. We traded in a tank for a moped. We were told were getting a Ferrari.

Garbage lazy hire that set the program back a decade.
I didn't get my way so I'm going to fall on the ground and kick my feet! You people are pathetic. Ya'll couldn't wait for a loss so you could come out of the woodwork to say I told you so. You hope LSU has a terrible season so you can feel superior. Hey I hoped for home run hire that would come in and win immediately and get us to the playoff. But guess what it wasn't out there. Bill Bellicheck couldn't get this team to the playoffs, so just keep being miserable while the rest of us enjoy LSU football for what is and look forward to better days.

Whatever some of you have to say to make yourselves feel better, I guarantee you 100% that everyone who puts on a purple and gold shirt to watch the Tigers play wants them to play great and win--Regardless of who they like or don't like as the head coach. I have never understood this line of thinking.

Are you going to wait until Orgeron gets an extension until you finally have an opinion on it?

Im glad we fired the second winningest coach in LSU history for participation trophies
Posted on 9/26/17 at 11:27 am to Goldrush25
I have an opinion on it, but I'm sorry if it's not doom and gloom. I wasn't happy when we hired him, but I haven't given up on him yet. This is a re-tooled coaching staff trying to figure each other out.
On this board, you're either "sky is falling" or a pumper. There is an in between.
