Some LSU fans are acting like Alabama fans! Chill the freak out! Coach O is in his first full season, as is Canada. Give them time to implement and change things around to fit the team. We've played 20 true freshmen this year that were walking high school halls last year and you expect them to be ready to play in the SEC West in six months. Chill out dude! Support the team or just shut up! We don't need other fans to trash us because a lot of LSU fans are doing a good job of that already! If you think LSU is going to win every game and look great in every game then you need to put the crack pipe down. I know everybody compares us to Alabama, but even they will slow down eventually. It wasn't long ago that Auburn had beaten Alabama six years in a row, but things go in cycles. It's time to get realistic and realize we're not going to look great every weekend. It's college football and LSU is going through a difficult transition with injuries, new coaches and having to play a lot of young players. Grab a beer and relax and support the Tigers! Geaux Tigers!

Disclaimer: I'm not, in any way, equating Orgeron to Saban. BUT to put things in perspective, Saban did lose to ULM in his first year at Bama. Granted, I'd have way more faith in him to turn around a program quickly. That's the nature of LSU fans though (myself included) - we want results NOW. I've always been of the opinion that LSU teams could simply show up and win 8 games on pure talent alone. Not sure if that is the case this year.

Well said and I wish that more of the lunatics on this board would take your chill advice. This is a re-calibrating year with a ton of youth that need to learn their positions to replace what we lost to the NFL last year. I am, however, hopeful that Canada adjusts. The new OC and his scheme seems gagety and soft to me, and I hope he modifies it. Fact is, Ensmingers offense and play calling last year is what I wish we had. Also, bring back the full back more in the running game. The flash light is who opened the holes for L7 and Guice last year.

Garbage lazy hire that set the program back a decade. Why in the frick would I give them a chance when nothing has been shown to make me believe in their abilities. We're showing the same problem areas that plagued O in Mississippi and the team has regressed in the year he's been in charge.

Keeping pumping, sunshine. Ed O is a loser coach and will continue this for as long as he is at LSU. If we are going to spend a few years rebuilding, then hire a competent head coach to do the rebuilding.

And to the guy who said LSU fans shouldn't act like Alabama fans....do you know what the biggest difference between the two programs are generally? it's not money, fans base, or facilities. it's that Alabama fans demand excellence while half of ours is completely okay with mediocrity and make excuses for a head coach who is clearly out of his depth because they identify with him personally.

You right about that. Politickin and Facebook moms are what got O the job. The funniest (saddest) part is that it's become clear he did/said what he needed to do last year to get the job, and now he's done selling that bullshite and is doing things "his" way.

So funny how the expectations have been changed now that 0 is the coach. It's pathetic. One of the many reasons why he is going to let this program slip into the abyss. Fans like you have accepted him for what he is, a terrible coach. He doesn't need to be here

Outside of penalties I don't get all the hating on O. Dont get me wrong the state loss was alarming in many ways but the coaches that need to get their shiiiat together is Grimes & Canada. Our tackles are veterans and they may not be NFL prospects but they should be better than this. The shifting and unbalanced lines seem to have hurt them. Canada needs to scheme to help them out. They need to line up and try and keep each player on an island when pass protecting. Man on man. That's our best shot imo. He can do that by spreading things out and force defenders out of the box area. We will get RL and Herron back soon. Dline will improve. If oline can play better we may not be as bad off as we think.
