He used to be one you could count on to lay down bunts when needed. I’d have him focus on bunting. Can’t do any worse!

Bras had two hard hit balls against UCLA. Was hoping that would carry over into the Arky game, but damn it looked bad. They showed him in the dugout after the bunt with his head against the wall.

We are where we are at this point. A serviceable third baseman hitting in the .250 range would be a nice upgrade but something that needed to be addressed sometime between October and March! Obviously Jay felt Brasswell was going to find his bat, but he never did and there’s not much he can do with this in June. I dont think Reaves is the answer either…not enough offensive production to justify the delta in defense!

It's too late now. I said when he sucked at Texas that they need him to get to Omaha, that was not true. They still need him against CC. At some point his batting skills need to match his glove skills to assure the Tigers are victorious

Braswell’s issue isn’t just getting a tweak to correct it. That huge uppercut swing he has developed has to be torn down and rebuilt.

Any offense Braswell gives us this weekend is a bonus. He isn't in a slump. His swing is seriously flawed. I am sure he is working and taking BP. I am sure Jay is working with him, but his swing is more than a 45 degree angle. Hopefully he can come through against Coastal because he is a quality player and teammate.
