Do you think: Running routes Getting open Catching Are talents? JJ seems pretty good at those things. Somewhat decent, I’d say.
I would consider those skills. Talent typically refers to innate ability that can be channeled and built upon to form specific skills. Pickens has flashed insane talent from HS to the NFL. He has not built upon that talent and demonstrated the reliability and versatility that separates JJ from other talented WRs.
If there’s any skill in which Pickens may have JJ beat, it’s catching. Pickens is as skilled a ball catcher as I’ve seen. 6’3” Jarvis Landry.
He’s behind the curve at the subtleties of body positioning and route running, which are among the most valuable WR skills today, and that’s where JJ excels most.

Talent is just one piece of being a top nfl wr, but hey I don't expect you guys to be rational when it comes to Ryan Clark quotes.
Because Clark is being hyperbolic and controversial on purpose. Is there an argument Pickens might have a slight natural talent edge? Maybe. But there isn’t a wide receiver on planet earth “much more” talented than Jefferson and Clark knows it. He says stuff not even he believes so people will talk about it, just like every other shock jock journalist. Not to mention people think exaggeration bolsters whatever point they think they're making, which is also dumb.
Clark's actual point is probably that Pickens is one of the next guys to join the elite level WRs in the league (which is fair)...but he's too stupid to realize he doesn't have to make ridiculous statements to get that point across

I would love to hear him defend “much more”. If he stated that Pickens is extremely talented. On par with j jetts with potential to be the more talented player, I could disagree and also understand his opinions but to use the term “ much more “ is flat out ridiculous

This is an insane take. Pickens isn't even in the same stadium yet per NFL standards.

Even if Pickens were "more talented" than JJ, he'd actually have to stay healthy and play full seasons to show it. Which he has not yet proven.

In terms of raw talent, he may get the edge over JJ.
But at that level, pure talent doesn’t get you that far. Everyone in the NFL has the talent.
I’ll take JJ’s actual production any day over someone who may have a little more natural talent.

What's next? This clown is going to say Kenny Pickett is better than Joe? I don't mind because I'd rather listen to Marcus Spears or Booger than this clown anyway.

Well Jefferson is a better wide receiver.

How?

Jett’s is literally faster, jumps higher, runs better routes and it’s not even close, and had better production in college, and is a record setting receiver in the nfl lol

How does Pickens have more talent?
Jefferson 78” wingspan 202 pounds
4.43 forty
37.5 vert
Pickens- 77.375” wingspan 195 pounds
4.47 forty
33 vert
Jefferson is heavier, longer wingspan, faster, and more explosive. So where is this “more talent”? It’s just a lazy lazy lazy uneducated take where he thought Pickens had better measurables

Being a Steelers fan, I understand that Pickens is a very talented WR who makes athletic catches. With that said, he is not Jett’s at this point of his career. Jefferson is top 3, if not the best receiver in football right now.
