GA won in OT with big boy SEC FB. So goes the lesson.

I-formation power run game the way Les Miles had perfected at LSU. Those were the golden days of LSU football - power run game with dominating defenses.

And our O line was supposed to be elite. We had several disappointing personnel groups, but considering the preseason hype, they were the most disappointing.

They really paid off for us. Got a damn strong 9-10 wins every year with only 1 SEC Title from 2008-2016.

The QB had a bum elbow as well. Everyone in the building knew it was going to be a run.

Wish we would add a I formation back to the playbook for situations where you need a yard.

We had 0 full back this year. Our blocking TE transferred before the season.

It sucks, but very few FBs exist in even high-school football.

as soon as i saw UGA in what looked like I-form twins i thought about this guy as well

with beck having a hurt rag arm you knew they were handing off. Les miles type predictability but les miles type ramming it down your throat.

Cherrypicking and still having to rewrite history
Miles won 11 in 2010

Dietzel-1
Saban- 1
Miles - 5
Orgeron- 1
Miles had more 11+ seasons than all the LSU coaches combined, plus likely 10W seasons also, but lack time to deal with idiots and feel guilty even responding to this post.

Having the rb find the hole is nice as well.

And Texas knew they were going to run because Beck couldn’t throw a ball. His arm was jacked up earlier in the game. He couldn’t even move it.

A nauseating % of Rant posters are absolutely in love with Sylvester Croom, (Brad Davis) for some reason.

He's turned the pre-season "Top 5 in the Country" LSU OL into disorganized hot garbage.

Will Campbell and Emery Jones have noticeably regressed.

Can't run block waf.

No legitimate Center and no reliable SEC quality depth.

It's coaching stupid and BD get the blame........

How many 12 game regular seasons did coaches pre miles have. Saban woulda had 11 in 2001 and possibly in 2004 had we not been screwed at auburn and shite bed in bowl game.

Yeah I know shorter seasons were the norm last century up to early 2000s, which is why I commented about probably most 10 win seasons. Also recall 2015 McNeese weather cancel game that would've likely produced another 10W season.

What did LSU do well? What did we excel at? Maybe kickoffs? That’s all I got

You yearn for the days of Les Miles, then what are you complaining about?

We went 8-4. This was a typical Les Miles season.

So weak that a 1 yard gain up the middle is maybe a 50% success. Maybe.
