STTDB was your reply? Geez. Some friend you are. A simple "I can't do it buddy" would have been a dick move but probably a better play if this is a close enough friend to ask you to be IN his wedding.

LSU fan huh?

This was a test and he failed big time. This is a slippery slope towards cuckoldism.

It doesn’t bode well for a marriage when the bride can’t consider such things (if it is truly important to her future husband).

This was my first thought as well. Also, they didn't discuss the date together? My ex-wife was a crazy arse woman, but we planned the damn wedding together. It's supposed to be a great day for both people.

I was asked to be in one too. Quickly whipped out the phone. Seen we were playing Miss State. Then proudly accepted.

Sounds like a shotgun wedding if he’s asking two months before.

What a selfish a-hole.

If you’re talking about your friend, it’s actually the opposite. He’s unselfishly allowing her to pick the date regardless of what he wants to do that day and what’s important to him. That being said, what a pussy.

I tried a few options but got the snobby "the venue is booked". I then reply it's a abandoned frickin wharehouse just reschedule. 80% sure there are nightly hobo gangbangs in that place

I proposed to my now wife at a vacation home in Colorado before smartphones and no internet. She proposed a date and I said I had to get back home to check my work schedule. As it turns out the date selected was an open date. Fate. However, I would not have scheduled the wedding on a game day. I would not do that to the guests.

Yeah, that’s not a friend. That’s like a moving friend, one that calls you when he needs help moving, and then tells you “Thanks”, and then invites you to be in his wedding during football season, or opening day of deer season, shite!

Are you scared that we might actually get a first down or score a point and you'd miss it?

I was married on January 1st, 2007. The LSU bowl game that year was January 3rd. Had the bowl been on January 1st, I would have been married on January 2nd. Thats a true story.
