You've just described why the state will always be an underachiever. Every f'ing time, politicians, coaches, etc. Convenient how they forget Jay Johnson and the like.
Coaches learn, but UTSA wasn't exactly a Power 5 contender, and he failed. So we fire a moderately successful ND coach in a moderately difficult conference (ND's schedule) that couldn't succeed in the SEC for a guy that couldn't succeed in the AAC? Oh, yeah, I'm sure the difference will be the money that BTR lawyers can shove towards NIL that will make it effective. Just like aggy succeeded with Jimbo and Sumlin.
