it's the not going to the banquet or travelling to the bowl game because he couldn't wait 2 more weeks to sign with an agent.

if you don't care that he isn't playing, why would you care about this?

I don't think Clutch Sports reps NFL players. Roc Nation has a really deep roster spanning the 4 major sports

Well, he's been hurt, he gains nothing at this point from being at LSU if his plan is to go pro, which it obviously is

THIS!!!

He tried to play numerous times throughout the season when he wasn't healthy enough, possibly to the detriment of the team. Why come back, still not 100%, and make the injury worse.

It's not like he's 100% healthy and hasn't been hurt all year and NOW is deciding to sit out a the bowl game like some in the national media have insinuated.

Because it's a selfish "look at me" move.

He's been all about Fournette for most of the year. That is undebatable by his actions.

It's obviously his own decision to do as he pleases, but not travelling, skipping games, team activities, and the team banquet is a bad look.

They should make LF's overly dramatic decision to play in the Florida game into a movie, except LSU wins in the movie.

No way did I think LF would play in that game.

his career did not match the hype

this opinion is rooted squarely on the fact that Alabama completely shut him down his entire career which subsequently ended any chance of bringing a hesiman/SEC/national title to LSU. The expectations set upon him were not fair, but saying he didn't deliver on the "hype" is flat out wrong.

Nothing says "all about Fournette" like playing most of the year injured in pointless games for an interim coach who didn't even recruit for him. That son of a bitch!

What? I don't expect him to play but I expect him to not sign a fricking contract and lose his eligibility 2 weeks before his last game of his career. It's selfish, deal with it.

Yea you're not delusional at all

When he shows up at the game I'm going to laugh at your dumbass

His performance against Auburn when his ankle was at its worst was one of the grittiest showings of all time despite the loss. We probably do not beat MSU this year without an injured Fournette rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Then an injured Fournette gives us one more performance for the books by dropping 284 yards and 3 TDs on Ole Miss. He gave everything he possibly could give this year and more playing injured. Some of y'all genuinely blow my mind.
